just had probably the worst burger i've had since i cant remember. my m-mw their choice firestarter was done in under 5 minutes. and it tasted like it. barely warm, overly charred and dry as heck to the point i had to ask for one of their carryout mayo packets which i put on my stale tasting bun. when the owner Ron asked how it was i told him it sucked and gave him my reasoning. he basically called me a liar because "he sells 80 burgers a week and it couldn't be dry because it sits in a warming pot of beef juice at 180 degrees." that alone is a good reason to never order a burger here. maybe had they melted the cheese it would have warmed up some, doubt it. if you go, you cant beat the $2 drafts on tuesday except for the fact it took the tender two keno draws to even acknowledge me even though it was slow and i suggest their version of the philly cheesesteak that was great, DO NOT ORDER their precooked water bath pieces of ??? they call a burger. big waste of money and probably why the tenders and waitresses don't recommend them. To top it off the owner, when i told him don't ask if you don't want to know told me i was having a bad day and not to blame his precooked hockey puck. if you enjoy a good burger as i have for the last 50 years dont go to the corner pub...
Awesome place to catch a game or just hang out with friends. Great service. The food is better since the kitchen was fixed!
It seems like their kitchen is undergoing some work or something right now, but this place just shouldn't be open at the moment. Everything we ordered seems to just be microwaved food from Kroger. It's disgusting and I can't believe I just paid $12 for a microwaved frozen burger.
Wednesay night, less than 1/2 full takes forever to get drink. She never comes back for food order. I ask for check 25 minutes later. She said they got busy. Lol. I was going to be there a while...oh well. She lost 20 plus in tips if she had been good.
My wife and I love this spot! Great food, friendly service and price friendly as well! We will definitely be back!
I have been here twice and it has always been great. Drinks are on point, bartender is great, cheese bread was fire . Definitely will be back.
Restaurant is nice and clean inside but food options are limited and not very good. Food prices are way too high for what you get. Everything tastes bland and the food comes out on paper trays.
I want to like this place. Great TV's for sports. But there is a funk of a smell that I can't identify. Bothers me every time I go.
My wife and boys love the Corner Pub! The pizza and cheese bread is amazing. Perfect Detroit style. My boys love that they have megatouchtouchscreen games and always ask to go the “pizza and games” place. I have come up here with friends as well and sat at the bar and the bartenders are always gracious and fun. Love this place and can’t suggest it enough!!
