I am a 62 year old man with several medical issues. I left my doctor of 20 years because my Internist is close to retiring. He has lost his empathy, and needs to retire. In addition, I need a younger Dr, because I plan to be arounher Dr Smith-Tyron's bedside manner, and up to date treatment. Today was my first visit with her. By the time the staff had my insurance card copied, I went right back to see the Dr. I never even sat in a waiting chair. I was taken back by the dr's Medical Asisstant. She was very pleasant. As soon as she finished taking all the information, Dr Smith-Tryon immediately walked in. She was also very pleasant and professional. She was very thorough, and listened carefully to everything I said. Dr Smith -Tyrone and Cornerstone Family Healthcare are a breath of fresh air! She is the finest of her profession, with excellent communication skills. That's what I was looking for, and happy that I've found it. YMMV

Do not try and get into this office anytime soon. My first attempt I had to get an appointment 2 months out. When the day finally came, I sat in the waiting room 2 HOURS past my appointment time and finally had to leave because I still hadn't been called back. The doctor came highly recommended so I thought I would try again. First available appointment is the middle of January and its October. Add to that the receptionists act like you are inconveniencing them by calling in and no thank you.

Could not even get in to see Dr. Noronha, who came highly recommended, because I asked questions that obviously irritated the office staff. After I filled out all their required paperwork and left the office their office manager called to tell me I wasn't a good fit for the practice! Wow! I have insurance, I am a working professional and I have an illness.......what more does a Dr. Need?!?!? Perhaps an office staff that understands service!
