The guy serving was wishing he was anywhere but work, lol. I haven’t seen someone look that unhappy at work since I last had an office job. But the ice cream was pretty decent. I loved the mini marshmallows in my Rocky Road.
Ice cream is just okay. The tres leches ice cream is actually vanilla ice cream. The prices seem to increase when there are events taking place in the area like today was the season opener for the Rockies - there are different prices listed on the wall than are listed on the cups next to the counter.
We've been bringing food tour guests to Cornicello for years now and we love it. I'm disappointed people don't know that the flavors are seasonal and all gelato is spun in house. I know the Milk Market can be chaotic sometimes but staff at Cornicello have always been helpful to us and our group. Chili Mango is my recommendation if its in season.
The service here is questionable. The guy that asked for my order didn’t check with me about cup vs cone and when i asked for a cone after he had already scooped half of my cup, he got a horrible attitude which persisted as my significant other ordered his gelato. Probably won’t return. The gelato wasn’t worth the trouble.
Stopped by for some ice cream while exploring downtown Denver this past weekend. I ordered the lemon pie, but they were out. My second choice was also out, so third time was the charm. Had the tiramisu and it was very good. Taste was on point!
So I am not an ice cream lover like at all. I might eat it once in a year. I saw that place had pretty low reviews so I decided to contribute and say that many people are weird while judging food or sweets. I have eaten gelatos in Italy and I know how taste is different. I was happy with the service, with price. Got single scoop on a waffle cone and it was delicious. It was so big that me and my little pup shared a bite and I still couldn't finish it. So all I can say is that place is nice and icecream was tasty. Keep up good job
The soft serve is good but the employee was rude. I asked for a soft serve and it was served in a cup, so i asked to buy a cone with the intention to make an up side down ice cream. But the employee took it as i wanted ice cream in a cone instead so he threw the ice cream cup into the trash can violently which scared me and all the customers around. On top of that, my soft serve looks like poop because that employee has no idea how to squeeze it. Really bad experience.
Consider myself a bit of a gelato connoisseur after living in IT for a few years. Not sure if I caught them on a bad day or if this is how it normally tastes but this is not gelato. I’m still not sure what I just ate. It’s a pretty nice station in Milk Market but I would avoid until their recipes are revamped.
The best gelato I've had in Colorado, hands down. Great customer service and flavor variety. Love the location, too. I would come back again!
An $ 11 malt should come in a larger cup....regardless of being " Gelato" skimpy on the amount and malt powder. Poor value
