Story

Scott Costantino is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Civil Trial Law. He is also Board Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has received an AV-Preeminent rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and has over 25 year’s experience in civil trial practice.

Mr. Costantino has been elected as a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers. In selecting its membership the ISOB seeks to honor attorneys who have distinguished themselves as outstanding in the field of trial advocacy. The ISOB was formed to recognize the era’s best advocates and to support the goals of ethical conduct, protection of the rights of citizens, the independence of the judiciary and the integrity of the Bar. Mr. Costantino serves as the ISOB membership chair for the State of Florida.

He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. ABOTA is an organization that seeks to elevate the standards of integrity, honor, ethics, civility and courtesy in the legal profession. Mr. Costantino was selected as the ABOTA-Jacksonville Chapter’s Lawyer of the Year for 2012. He is the President of the ABOTA-Jacksonville Chapter for 2015.

Mr. Costantino has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the publication The Best Lawyers in America. Best Lawyers is the oldest and most respected peer rating service in the legal profession. A listing in Best Lawyers is widely regarded as a significant honor, given to a lawyer by his peers. The Costantino Law Firm, P.A. has also been named a Tier 1 firm in Jacksonville by U.S. News − Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” for 2014. Mr. Costantino has also been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers magazine. Super Lawyers choses lawyers for its publication who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. No more than five percent of the lawyers in the State of Florida are selected for recognition by Super Lawyers.


The National Trial Lawyers organization selected Mr. Costantino for inclusion in its list of the top 100 trial lawyers in the State of Florida. The NTL is an invitation-only organization that extends membership to 100 lawyers in each state who exemplify superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature and profile as civil plaintiff trial lawyers. The American Society of Legal Advocates selected Mr. Costantino for inclusion in its list of top 100 litigation lawyers in the State of Florida. The ASLA is also an invitation-only organization that extends membership to 100 lawyers in each state with stellar legal credentials and a proven commitment to community engagement and the highest professional standards. The ASLA limits its membership to less than two percent of all licensed lawyers nationwide.

The Chester Bedell Inn of Court has designated Mr. Costantino as a Master of the Bench. This designation is reserved for judges, experienced lawyers and law professors. He has also been named a Life Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum where membership is limited to lawyers who have won million dollar verdicts or settlements for their clients. Less than one percent of the lawyers in the United States are members of this forum.

Mr. Costantino represents clients in complex personal injury matters, including wrongful death, professional liability, car accidents, trucking accidents, motorcycle and bicycle accidents as well as premises liability cases. Mr. Costantino received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida. He is the managing shareholder of The Costantino Law Firm, P.A. Mr. Costantino and his wife Monica have four children.
