Story

Our firm was started by John Phillips in 2011. It has since grown to not only practice personal injury, wrongful death and civil rights cases, but family law and criminal defense.

We have offices in Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach and Brunswick, Georgia.

ABOUT JOHN

John is one of the youngest Board Certified civil trial lawyers in Florida and the youngest to be both Board Certified in Civil Trial and AV Rated in northeast Florida. He is licensed to practice in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and before the US Supreme Court.

John has many million dollar verdicts and settlements in cases ranging from soft tissue injuries to brain damage cases, but it's about more than money to us. He represented the Jordan Davis family during their trials and tribulations after the 17 year-old was shot and killed by Michael Dunn, represented over 100 child victims of pediatric dental abuse at the hands of Howard S. Schneider, DDS and achieved what was called a "landmark victory" in a school bulling case, getting a bully banned from the school system, which ultimately led to an appellate court re-defining confusing law. He also tried an injury case, resulting in a $2.6 million verdict, while Good Morning America's cameras rolled.

He has spoken over 1000 times to national and international audiences on the topics of equality, justice, injury, violent crime and more, including at a TEDx conference (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrzJyrlSoFE). He was appointed by the Mayor to Jacksonville's Human Rights Commission in 2016.

Matt Hunt practices family law exclusively and Reid Hart handles criminal defense matters. We will consult wherever injustice lives. We are here to help you through these tough times.
