The Rolls-Royce of Shopping Clubs! From the deep discounts to the pristine house cleaning / shopping environment to the superior customer service, Costco has it going on! Costco's customer service goes above and beyond because they KNOW the value of a good customer. I love and utilize all the many benefits Costco has to offer! I enjoy all the fresh seasonal produce offered along with the deep discounts on pharmacy items, contact lens solution and vitamins. There is something for EVERYONE at Costco! This place is amazing! They had a great Military Day the other weekend and I was totally excited! We do almost all of our shopping here and will continue to do so. The manager and his staff are top notch in taking care of issues. Return process is the best I've seen in the retail industry. The products they sell are highly rated and we are totally satisfied with all the great deals and customer service is excellent.

Went in on a guest membership, the store was nice and had some really great stuff but, I just didn’t see the prices that made me want to join today! I prefer Sam’s. Having said that, I hear they have some awesome Christmas sales, I may try back later.

Long lines, Low technology for checking out, SAMS Club has an.app. where you simply scan, then pay on your cell phone and it's Soooo much better. However, Costco has Sam's club beat for the lighting, and ambiance of the store. Costco is less of a warehouse. Sam's club has the ambiance of a warehouse storage facility. Costco has better decor, is more upbeat. Both are simply big box stores. Shop big box stores only when you must. So Costco: get you apps together; Sam's club: fire your decorator.

I've had a Sams Club membership for a few years and finally decided to try Costco. Honestly I'd say there's really not much difference except for a few minor things. They both have their own decent store brand items like detergent, paper towels, and food. They also both have a tire shop, gas station, cafe, and liquor store. It really comes down to the location and how far away you have to drive especially to get the discounted gas.
