Small bakery in a tourist town, but not touristy. I was afraid this would be one of those tourist trap bakeries that one often finds in tourist towns, but it was more like a very popular local bakery. Great selection of danishes, doughnuts and good coffee. My daughter was disappointed however that there were no savory pastries that she could see. Friendly atmosphere. We were there early on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded, but it looked like it would become crowded soon.

wow..you guys pulled a fast one on me today.
after coming in 3 times for my devil dog stuffed with custard which I love..today I found it was full of whip cream no custard. why would you do that? I would not have paid for it knowing that there wasn't any custard.  I ended up  tossing it in the trash

Lots of baked goods behind glass. I had the German chocolate brownie and it was delish. The prices are a bit high but the quality is definitely there.

Just OK food and nickel dime mentality. 

Fun historic location, but rules posted everywhere. Prices not horrible, but must pay full beverage price for tap water with meal. 

Looks like it's getting run down, owners not reinvesting the dimes. There's nothing too good or bad to say. Sourdough was soft and weak, but clam chowder was very good. 

I will look elsewhere for lunch next time I'm passing through.

Great place for a quick lunch. Sandwiches are pretty good. Nice selection of pastries, doughnuts and baked goods. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.
