We recently stayed at Cottage by he Castle and we couldn't have had a better experience. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We Had a flat tire upon arriving and as Chris's husband had just come home he offered to help us fix it in his garage without even realizing we were guests! The garden Room was charming and clean. The cottage is close to Candenton, the lake, and other fun sites to visit. And Chris makes a fabulous breakfast. Our only complaint is we only had one night to stay before moving on. Next time we are traveling back from family visits we plan to carve out an extra day!

My husband and I have never stayed at a B&B before. This place was fantastic! Chris is an amazing cook and we enjoyed every minute of our time here, despite the cloudy/rainy weather. We also had some great company talking with Chris and her husband. We'll definitely be back!

The accommodations were fabulous! Chris & Ron are really great hosts!! They set the benchmark on hospitality. The breakfast was “over-the-top”..... I would recommend that anyone put this on their list as a great place to stay.

Chris and her Husband were great.. we arrived late after a day of floating and they were there to greet us and check us in.. The room was extremely clean and cozy. We went out to dinner and came back and enjoyed the great outside hot tub with the lake in the background.  Breakfast was great and we look forward to our next visit!

I had a delightful weekend in this warm and welcoming Cottage.  So many little touches that make you feel pampered...delicious home made breakfasts, every nook and cranny of the home was warm and inviting, plus Chris, our host, was very gracious and knowledgeable about the history of the place.  I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone!
