I used to enjoy shopping here, I really did. This was before the expansion and of course before the staff became condescending. The staff really is the only reason I do not frequent this establishment anymore (here's looking at you, guy with mocking pencil mustache). It is ok if people (ESPECIALLY CUSTOMERS) have different tastes than you; as a matter of fact, it should be encouraged. But if one person is not a hop head, or a triple fan or insert beer style here; and you insist on belittling, downright talking down to someone for their different tastes? I've had enough. For the longest time I thought to myself, they will be better this time, only to walk into an atmosphere of inflated egos. No thanks. I'll take my money elsewhere and tell my friends and family to do the same.

Select beers are available on tap for in-store consumption and there's a bar and lounge at the rear of the store. They also sell growlers. Fine selection of cigars in the walk-in humidor with an on-site aficionado. Occasionally, the owner prepares delicious, authentic Cuban food for customers.

This place is awesome! The staff knows their beer and cigars! Every time I come in and ask for the newest sours. They explain to me in extreme detail how i am am a Moron and Sours are for the devil! It is great to have a group of employees that are willing to tell me how it is when it comes to to new beers on the market. If i were left to my own judgement I would be a savage and drink the sour beers that make my heart sing. Thanks to the expert beer enthusiast pallets of the amazing employees of Cottage Hill Package store, I know know that my pallet is one of an uneducated simpleton who couldn't finish the first grade. Thanks to cottage hill package, I know that the only beer worth drinkin' is the newest IPA on the market. Because we all know that if a beer has no hops then .....welll is ain't no beer at all!!!!!!

I have been hearing about this place for months and so I went last night (1-25-18), and was shocked at the bartenders lack of skill, congeniality, and outright rudeness. I was one of 2 women who attended this soiree and it took me 25 minutes of standing about 2 feet in front of her and all but lighting myself on fire to get her attention. When I finally got to order she made each mojito individually instead of 2 at a time and that took her about 10 additional minutes to do. (Ps the drinks were weak as water and WAY OVERPRICED FOR THE SIZE!) Now as for their "World Renowned Cigar Roller", this lady did not speak any english which is a bit odd for such a prestigious title, but all she was doing was taking pre-rolled cigars from a drawer in her station and putting one moistened leaf around it and setting them on the table to sell to the clients. I myself observed at least 7 men go ask her to fix them, because they were coming apart in our mouths, (I bought one and tried to smoke it) and since she did not or would not speak english they simply threw them away. May I suggest to the owners that they better investigate their employees and those whom they chose to promote before they disgrace themselves again with this shoddy type of service and poor workmanship. I enjoyed all of the patrons and other employees because they were quite friendly and congenial to everyone, but I probably will not be spending anymore of my hard earned money for inferior, and way overpriced, products and service, until it can be improved. I am only posting this so that the owners will know that they seriously need to fix this in order to keep the old and get the new customers. The food was good but they could ventilate the room better to remove all of the excess smoke present.
