I had to shop around for a while until I found a place we loved for our new pup! We’ve met with about three different vets here and every single one of them has been very patient and taken their time to answer all of our questions. I’m definitely a protective dog mom and I like my research, and they’ve never rushed me out. It took a little while to figure out some of his mystery ailments when we adopted him but they explored a few different causes and treatments with us and we feel like everything is under control. They’re great with him and his anxiety doesn’t seem to be so bad when we come here.

If my dog was in a very big emergency state, my dog would be dead by now.  My mom and I with me carrying my dog into this "hospital" waited for OVER AN HOUR just to be told after that hour of waiting that it would take "15 to 20 minutes to be seen".   That's a lie because we were NEVER seen by a "vet". When I questioned a supposed vet, she said and I quote "its like a doctors office.  Everybody has to wait in line.". Good thing my dog was NOT dying!!!!!   Honestly, this isn't a hospital...  Thanks for wasting our time.   NEVER AGAIN, WE WILL FROM NOW ON GO SOME PLACE ELSE.  This place is a joke... If I could give a 0 star rating, I would.

Absolutely the best care for our four legged family members. Kind and caring staff, genuinely empathetic to feelings and issues.
This last go round was so very hard for us and the true love and caring for animals that was given made it easier to deal with it.

I called at 4pm today to ask them a question about my dog. They told me if I was here, and being helped by 5, it would just be an urgent care visit, instead of ER visit.  I arrived just after 430, was in a room and seen by a tech by 445, and at 450 was told I would be seen by a doc within 10 min. At 457 I heard the tech outside my door telling someone he was growling (no duh, he is in pain) and that if she waited until after 5 to do my paperwork then that was too bad so sad for me, it would become an ER visit and cost twice as much. Then somebody said they needed a drink of cold water before they came in here... It is now 615 and I still have not seen or heard from ANYONE. I've seen lots of pairs of feet come to out door, and look thru the peep hole and walk away.. I asked the front desk 25 min ago what was going on, and I was told I was "next in line." So here I am, almost 2 hours later and my dog is just laying here whimpering in pain. I've always had a great experience with the morning staff here, but this place is a complete joke and this makes me NEVER want to come back.

We have been going here for many years, and not just us. Our family has brought many of their beloved animal friends here for years. The service we have received from Cottonwood Animal Hospital has surpassed our expectations every time.
The staff is friendly and always has the best in mind for our four legged family members.
