THIS IS BOUNDER BOB. Bounder Bob was supposed to be my vacation home on the Colorado River, and was in dry storage at Cottonwood Cove (Lake Mojave) in Searchlight, NV. The folks at the Cottonwood Cove Dry Storage told me their lot was secure, but they made me sign a damage waiver anyway. That was a lie! The truth is that during the day, there is no security there at all and anyone can freely come and go, will full, unfettered access to boats, campers and RV's. In a three week period, I visited Bounder Bob no less that 4 times with no one stopping me, questioning me at all. When I went to go get Bounder Bob to move him to his new home along the river, I found that he had been robbed. Someone broke the door handle and cleaned out everything of value (clean is a bad word to use), doing significant damage. They also tore out the battery and we could not get him started after that. I have contacted Cottonwood Cove several times to talk about my damages and how they can increase security so others don't get ripped off on their lot, but they have refused to even talk to me. I most certainly do not advocate crime of any sort, but if you have anything stored down there, get it over-insured, because clearly criminals know they have a recreational thieves supermarket waiting for them in Searchlight. I saw over $5k worth of stainless steel props alone!

Full RV Hook Ups, Hotel and Marina. RV spaces are ok but the property could use some maintenance including some grading. It appears they have updated the water hook ups and have added pressure regulators to each faucet. Space rental had gone up significantly over previous year rate. The hotel is very dated and needs an overhaul especially given the rates they charge. The Marina is modern and well laid out. This location is a great alterative for family orientated groups that want to avoid the madness and party attitude of Havasu or Laughlin.

Went to cottonwood cove to enjoy the lake for the day. Tried to rent a boat, lady was nice and the area was clear. Prices were reasonable but we ultimately decided to not rent it. The marina was well kept, facilities we're clean and we enjoyed our time there.

Been going to Cottonwood Cove for 25 years...Staff is very nice...However, since Forever Resorts has taken over it has gone downhill. Upkeep on landscape is terrible. Just left..they are extremely short on help...Patios are full of cob webs...Lawn is quickly becoming weeds and needs mowing..Palm trees all need trimming...etc..etc..Very disappointed....Racoons attack patios every morning and night..At times you can't get out..Forever Resorts you are a large organization and it appears you have really cut funds to this place....Sad...The lake is beautiful...

Love how rooms face the lake, nice patio n marina. Rooms are non-smoking but if your neighbor smokes out on the patio n u happen to be out there too you'll definitely get the smell. Lots of cobwebs along the ceiling n corners in our room, aside from that it was good.
