Decided to try the newest nail salon in Lake Stevens for a pedicure and shellac manicure. I was very impressed with their service and my nails turned out beautifully. The staff were very attentive, welcoming, and made sure I loved the color before moving on. Their prices were reasonable and very similar to other salons, they even have a customer loyalty card where for every 100 points you get a discount. I'll definitely be back!

This was my first visit and I  really impressed with how my nails turned out. I use the dipping powder and amd the look great. Did not give a 5 because I need to see how the pedicure turns out. Huyen did a great job.

A bit pricy with hidden fees....
The first time I tried the wait time was superlong so I decided to try a different location. This time I got seated right away and they were super friendly. She listened to exactly what I wanted and told me for a full set and shellac it would be $45. Halfway through she asked me what shape I would like and I told her coffin shape.  She said no problem that is a fun shape.... My nails overall turned out good even though the shape she did is not a true coffin shape. when I went to pay she told me my price was now 50 because coffin shape is harder to do and more time-consuming. I wish she would’ve honored the price that she originally told me or at least told me before she completely finished so it wasn’t a surprise to me at the end. Especially being that I was a new customer. I normally tip $10-$15 but today I was only able to tip $5. Overall it was a good experience even though it is a bit pricier than the other salons in Lake Stevens. She should of told me the additional charge up front.  Or said next time you come in this shape will cost extra money .....even though I think that’s silly.... It was easy for her to tell me the price before we started so it could of been just as easy for her to tell me the shape I wanted would be 5 dollars extra.  I’ve never heard of a nail shape costing more. I feel it definitely should be included with the price of a full set. Kinda bummed about that and bummed I couldn’t tip her as much as I normally do at other places.

Entered this spa with intentions of having my acrylic nails removed, and was seated immediately. However, once the service started, the nail technician use large clippers to cut down my nails (as expected), but cut way too close to my finger and clipped a bit of skin from 6 of my fingers, resulting in some bleeding and pain. Then, she proceeded to forcefully rip my acrylics from my nails using a plastic nail tip. I am aware that using a plastic nail tip is procedure when removing acrylic nails, but this technician was very rough with me and cut the sides of my finger nails while trying to remove the acrylics. Furthermore, the technician tried to file my already very short and very frail natural nails in a back-and-forth motion, which is not safe for natural nails (I’m a cosmetologist; I’m familiar with nail care and licensed to practice basic nail care services).

I paid $10 for this service, but I wish I had paid $14 at a different spa down the road that properly soak the acrylics first, and then removes the acrylic nails. It is extremely painful for me to apply even slight pressure on my fingertips which are now very swollen and still bleeding.

I went in for a full set and the lady said I should get shellac gel. I picked my colors sat down and another young lady began and when she started painting I told her I wanted sparkle on my ring fingers, she put glitter on one, but not the other. It's only been three days and already the paint is chipping away. This is why I wanted a full set, not gel. I'll never be back.
