Gorgeous getaway from the busy city. Upon arrival my husband and I were greeted by Jackie and Tom with home made lavender shortbread. Our cottage, the Cabernet Cottage, had a lovely wrap around deck surrounded by flowers and shaded by hammock strung trees. Inside the room was a large king sized bed (which is extremely comfortable) a jacuzzi tub, and a small couch by the fireplace. The back door opened to a deck complete with porch swing and rose garden. The walk in style closet hosted a mini fridge coffee station. Overall this place is very relaxing. The home made breakfast is delicious and just the thing to get you going in the morning.

Lovely B&B, had a delightful time. The breakfast was delicious and the soaking tub amazing. Short walk into town.

We had such a pleasant stay here! The owners were warmly friendly and charming. Even before arriving we had a positive interaction with them - we had to change our plans at the last minute due to an unfortunate family emergency, and they graciously rescheduled our stay with no penalty. Thank you! :) Upon arrival, we were greeted with home baked chocolate chip cookies. How sweet! We loved the quaint cottage and grounds. Everything in the cottage was thoughtfully arranged and tastefully decorated. There was a mini-fridge, a tiny cutting board and knife, a bottle opener, two wine glasses; shampoo (note: no conditioner, bring your own!), soap, lotion, cotton swabs, and q-tips. Best part was the shower had THREE shower heads! We had a peaceful night's sleep on the firm and comfortable bed. The next morning we woke up to a pack of young deer in the garden. Breakfast was fresh cut fruit, hearty sausages, a rich cheesy quiche, and an amazing candied ginger scone. Only downside: it was a little far from the water and the restaurants. Still, I would recommend staying here!

Delightful experience. The gardens were gorgeous, the breakfasts delicious, and the hosts (Jackie and Tom ) were very friendly and fun with a great sense of humor. They respected our privacy but were always available if needed. All in all, I would highly recommend The Country Cottage to anyone wanting a quiet, peaceful respite. We will certainly go back again as we had such a good time.

We had a wonderful stay!! The owner Jackie, was so helpful and nice! If she lived closer to me I would want her for a friend. The breakfast was delicious and I will recommend this place to friends.
