I love Country Cupboard. I have many fond memories of going there with my family and getting a wooden nickel, redeemable for candy at the candy counter, as a kid. Then my parents would drag me through the shops as I gorged on said candy. Well, I'm not a kid anymore, but going here still makes me happy. I love the broasted chicken dinner, with stuffing and potatoes. It never fails. Chicken is always crispy-skinned and flavorful, they have those classic American instant mashed potatoes, and the pure yellow gravy which will probably be illegal someday. Enjoy it while it lasts! I still like to walk through the shops after dinner too, and sometimes I will buy a little something to take home with me as a memento of one of many fun outings to Country Cupboard.

Very nice place to take my 85 year old in laws.  Good food.  The four of us enjoyed the plentiful hot dinner buffet.  Fresh salad fixings - disappointed slightly they don't offer Bluecheese salad dressing.  Awesome turkey noodle soup.  Decent hot meal offerings.  Great dessert.

Went on a Friday evening. Was seafood night, and had the buffet. Not impressed!!! Super expensive for a buffet that has more salad and dessert choices than actual entrees.  Way overrated!!! Desserts are pretty good. But, otherwise, the soups are canned, and the ONE choice of veggies they had that night besides the salad bar, was soggy canned green beans. Clam strips were fried too long and chewy. Steamed clams were tiny and like eating rubber pellets. Fresh fish was mushy and overcooked. The broasted chicken was dry. Mac & Cheese was like sticky pasta paste. Our 3 year old wouldn't even eat it, and she loves all mac & cheese. The best part of the entire meal was the peanut butter cream pie and the peach crisp. Most likely will be our first and LAST time eating the buffet, if we even ever return at all. Can't honestly say anything about any of the actual menu items you can order, as we did not order anything except the buffet. So, who knows about that.

The food is good. A nice selection of Pennsylvania Dutch Foods. They also have a very nice shopping experience with many local crafts and nice things to shop. Make sure you walk around through the shops when you are there to eat. The buffet has a wide selection of food. Also a nice menu for those who prefer that type of eating. Quite a complex with two nice hotels adjacent. This is a destination establishment where many tourist buses stop on their way through the area although it is never too crowded to enjoy.

As another reviewer said, the locals love this place. Almost a temple of sorts where they regularly worship but the food is just so ordinary. Nothing makes this location stand out from any other buffet/over cooked generic diner. The atmosphere is pleasant, and has a warm charm, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit.
