Dr Mackin is a one in a million. So glad she's back in town. Last Friday our dachshund Gene fell I'll and every vet I called was booked solid, but Dr Mackin suggested the emergency vet just up the street. Turns out our little guy was full of cancer and his heart murmur had grown so he didn't make it. Dr Mackin must have called them to see how Gene was doing because she found out he had passed and sent us a card. We are devistated, but knowing she cared about us really helped. Today, my Chihuahua came to me with a swollen face. I knew Dr. Mackin was doing surgeries, but called anyway and were able to get in 2 hours later to see her. I wish I could find a doctor for humans with as much compassion. So we have antibiotics for the next few days and then my little dude, Punch will be going back for an abscessed tooth. It's been one tough week, but I'm so grateful for Dr. Mackin and I still love Dr. Shoemaker too. I drive all the way from Rigby so my kids can see the best and Punch did not need a muzzle where in Rigby he did.
A great place to go for your animals. My vet has worked so hard to get my dog to finally relax,sedation combinations just really nice.Way better then the other place. THANKS COUNTRYSIDE!
We love taking our dog and cat to see the wonderful people there. Dr. Susie Mackin is our favorite, but the other vets are excellent, too!
They have worked with me for a while and done urgent work on one of the dogs when nail got damaged. Fantastic place all the staff is great and I love the vet I see.
Love the care we receive here. Dr. Ralston and Dr. Mackin have taken good care of our fur babies.
