We have been 5 times now, you don't return that many times unless it is good. The meals are awesome and unique. If you enjoy a great bottle of vino, this resort has the most extensive list I have seen. The rooms are cozy, a little darkish are due for a facelift. Having a fireplace in our room, very romantic and the hot tub on our private deck. Nice time to break away from life and just enjoy your stay.

This place is an over priced novelty. We have stayed in the chateaus on more than one occasion, and while it's a nice get away there are other places of much better value. At between $1k-$2k+ for three nights there are much better ways to make your money go farther for just as much luxury. The food is good, but also a little over the top and the decor is dated. Again, it's great for a one time novelty but I'd do it to experience it once and then look elsewhere with your money.

Stayed in spa villa Europa. Amazing time at an amazing resort. Went during low period in winter for a birthday. Staff were excellent and would help with anything. Service was prompt and top notch. Spa services were excellent. Food was perfectly cooked every meal. Had a full steak dinner with all the compliments delivered to the room via room service, it came hot and perfectly med rare. Dining in the restaurant requires you to dress up and was very enjoyable. The live music was excellent. I would return in a heartbeat and I imagine as its right on the lake, the summer would open up all Algonquin park has to offer. Pictures of the impressive Spa Villa Europa which was on the water with an outside enclosed whirlpool on the deck, an inside large Jacuzzi tub, California king bed, wood fireplace with wood and fire starter, bathroom with sauna and four head dual occupancy shower.

Overall it is a great place to relax, unwind and spend some quality time with your partner.  The rooms are spacious, and well equipped, the food was fantastic and the entertainment also great.  The available skates, skis and snow shoes encourage you to get out and enjoy the great outdoors.  We were a little mystified however that they nickle and dime you for a lot while you are there, parking, fireplace, juices and coffee.   If they need to raise the price a little to cover non alcoholic drinks I think they should you pay top dollar to stay here.  Every other hotel on the planet gives you free coffee in the morning.  That being said it was a great relaxing stay which is what the doctor ordered

We spent 3 nights in the Venus cabin. Brand new bathroom that was amazing, hot tub on the deck, a wood burning fireplace and not to forget, the wonderful king size bed. The food was amazing. Our spa experience was great.
We're not sure why we had to pay for parking when that's how most people arrive! They were no alternatives, like parking somewhere else and walking in. As the all inclusive is at par with a trip south for a week, I think parking and firewood should be included.
We went because we wanted to be enjoy the outdoors and be alone. And because of that we had a great mini vacation!
