In my job field I see many venues and eat a lot of different food. I feel in love with Trillium Resort my first time I ever came to a wedding there. the food by Chef Joe was amazing, and the staff are easy to work with. I decided to take my wife away for a getaway and Trillium was one of my first choices. The venue is so much what you need once in a while in life. Yes the Wifi is not the best but we all need a retreat once in a while from life. My wife feel in love with Trillium and wants to go up again and it was just over a month ago I was there. We stayed in one of the Lake view Cabins and the rooms were amazing. It has a full kitchen two rooms, fireplace and many other things you would have. Free Breakfast and Dinner as well came with the package I took. If you need a beautiful retreat away and want to enjoy the beautiful grounds of being in the outdoors, then Trillium is a place you need to go to.

Scenery is nice and the atmosphere inside the resort is cozy but there's much to be said regarding the management and their 'rules'. Additionally their accommodation prices are very high and are based per person rather than per room. Our friends paid for an open bar at their wedding but the venue did not allow for shots or doubles and the staff were instructed to pour half shots in the mixed drinks. Upon sharing my review on Facebook and feedback regarding the bizzare bar restrictions I was dismissed; they even took it as an opportunity to pat themselves on the back for a job well done. (originally a 2 star rating but lost a star for being full of it) I caution anyone considering booking with this venue to take into account that if you have any issues or concerns, it will be met with complete denial. I would never trust these people with my wedding.

First discovered this hidden gem while at a wedding being held at the resort. We have since returned for a getaway weekend in late November and still love it. It is tucked away in the woods and the resort is quite peaceful. We stayed in the lake view cabins which are very woodsy and rustic. The beds are not the most comfortable, a tad too stiff. The hike up the hill to the lakeviews is steep and could be a problem for anyone with difficulty walking a steep gravel hill. The grounds are well kept. There is the options of having inclusive dinner and breakfast with your stay served in the main lodge. There is a spa on site which we enjoyed a massage at. There is also a pool, hot tub and sauna. Friendly and courteous staff on site and in the dinning room. And the best feature of all the Trillium is situated right on the lake which provides amazing views. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys the quiet and seclusion of nature.

The most beautiful accommodating resort! We spent our honeymoon here and were thrilled by the friendly service of the staff, the top notch food and the variety of activities available. Very beautiful place for couples to retreat.

We were here for a wedding. Location is spectacular with perfect views and relaxation. Lost stars because staff were flustered and rude. Our table didn't get coffee, when we asked they said they ran out. We helped ourselves to coffee from another area and when we sat back down we were told we had to get up so they could clean our table. We asked for a few more minutes so we could chug our coffee. Staff continued to push around us, elbowing us while reaching over to clear items off the table. I had my 9 month old on my lap since there wasn't a setting for him or a place for his stroller (which I also asked staff where I could put it and was told "well not in the dining area"), staff were placing hot soup right infront if him which he grabbed quickly. It was open bar and bar staff were friendly and quick. My step mom can't have anything sweet or carbonated. She finds ceasars are the only thing that doesn't upset her stomach. Staff had ran out of clamato early in the night and when she asked if there was anything else she could have the lovely bar staff went to find something coming back with a tomato juice. The same rude staff we dealt with at our table earlier comes over and snatches the tomato juice stating that's not for guests. Other then that food was yummy, location was beautiful, and it appeared the bride and groom had a great time!
