This hotel is built out of an old bank and is really clean, elegant and comfortable. My wife and I stayed here in a suite with two small kids and the room price was relatively affordable. It's right across the street from the International Spy Museum and several good restaurants including Shake Shack. I would have given it five stars, but the room service and breakfast menus are ludicrously expensive -- $16.75 per adult for continental breakfast. Otherwise it was awesome!

Comfortable rooms, extremely helpful/friendly staff, excellent location (walking distance to National Mall, Penn Quarter and China Town). Very reasonable price for staying in prime location. Make a reservation today...you won't be disappointed. On another note, the hotel building was a bank in a former life. The interior structure is a treat to see, the kids will enjoy seeing the vault door located downstairs and there is plenty of teaching oppurtunities while pointing out interior architectural features.

Great service, room was ready early, amazing location. Room did not have hair dryer or extra bedding but was brought up readily when asked. Room was also quiet with comfortable bed. Breakfast was okay, no complaints.

So far it has been a great stay. Staffs been super friendly and helped us do an early check-in. Set us up with a crib and called to make sure it would work for our little baby. Only complaint is the pool was tiny and wow there was a lot of chlorine.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... This was an excellent experience. The front desk checked us in when we arrived although we were an hour early and asking to check our bags. We were given an accessible room which was perfect for me. The pool and work out area was easily accessed and clean. The Jacuzzi is attached to the pool. That was a little bit of a negative as it is difficult to relax with pool water splashing into the hot water. That little inconvenience was so overshadowed by everything else. Room service was prompt and delicious. The room was clean and everything was comfortable. The staff was exceedingly helpful.
