Very tasty. Wife loved the death by chocolate with whipped cream. I got butter pecan and Oreo salted caramel in a waffle cone and that was a blast from my childhood personally. The best part of the chocolate flavor was the use of dark chocolate which has been rare when we do get an ice cream craving, it was very rich and decadent.

The owners of this ice cream truck travel the foothills with their old fashioned look and friendliness.  The truck is clean and just adorable,  as well as their uniforms. They are fun to talk to while serving delicious treats. If you see them, have an ice cream and chat. You wont regret it.

The staff is great. They have a variety of flavors and all the ice cream is rich and creamy. Don't be deceived by that teeny tiny cup, it is the perfect size.

Cowabunga is right next to the bowling alley in Lafayette has a door connecting to it and to the outside. We enjoyed the icecream - very creamy and lots of interesting flavors. They had a few typical ones chocolate, vanilla, etc and some twists on other flavors strawberry with Oreos, mint with marshmallow, etc.  My two kids 2 & 4yrs really enjoyed it as well. The prices are fair for the sizing and they have a tiny cup the mini moo that is perfect for kids. My kids really enjoyed drawing on the chalk board wall. We also loved that the icecream glass was low enough that kids can see the icecream. *The only downside is that they didn't have a high chair - it's something I'd really recommend management get for the future! Overall, we are really excited there is a new local icecream place and will be going back in the future!

Cowabunga is great!  From a precious edit: We had an issue with being underserved for root beer floats, but management quickly addressed and took care of it. Looking forward to going back for more soon, thank you!  Update #3: closed early on 8/18 and wouldn't serve us! Bummer! Back to 3 stars :/

Love it here but maybe they should update their hours if they want to keep closing early. Apparently open until 9:30 but second time they are not. Very closed at 915.

The price was good, compared to places like little man, for the delicious ice cream that they had. The guy helping us was super patient and kind. I got the raspberry chip and it was SO GOOD

Such a cute place tucked away in a little strip mall. Doesn't look like much on the outside but so cute when you get in! 3 very nice lovely girls helped us and were so helpful! There ice cream was amazing!!! We tried the funky donkey, cookie dough, bear claw and cake batter!! Best cake batter I have ever had btw!! Reasonably priced and they gave you samples if you wanted one! We will be back here before we leave town!

My favorite place to visit when in town.  Great ice cream and always super nice staff.    Flavor variety is very wide range.    Definite 5 star place
