This was a great shop with good merchandise and friendly sales people. I went into this shop looking for a swimsuit cover-up. After listening to my likes and dislikes, the sales girl went through the store with me and helped me pick out several things to try on. I ended up finding something that was just right! My only reason for not giving them 5 stars is that their prices are quite high.

The only reason I'm giving one star is because I can't give ZERO. My daughter used to work for Cowabunga. The owner (Melissa) was not only rude to her employees, but also to parents of the minors working for her as well as the parents of the kids in their surf school. They under pay their underage kids according to the Fair Labor Standards Act, and even when my daughter received a $10 tip from a customer, Melissa told my daughter that she was not allowed to take tips even though my daughter was clearly under paid, and they took the tip out of my daughter's paycheck. I am reporting them to the Department of Labor and warning others about them because I gave them multiple opportunities to rectify the under pay, and yet they refused. These kids work hard, long hours with kids in the sun, on the beach day in and day out. They should be fairly compensated, and treated with respect.

Great shop and great surf camp. Extremely professional and I feel 100% safe with my children there. The staff is a pleasure to deal with and go out of their way to be helpful. I give them 10 stars

Love surfing with those guys!! My teacher was great. He tougher me a secret in his lesson and I catch the wave within couple hours. Highly recommend.

We have participated in Surf Camp and recently rented boards for two weeks. Both experiences were fantastic, staff is amazing! Knowledgable, customer service oriented and really making sure you have a great Jenson Beach experience! We will always recommend and return to Cowabunga Surf and Sport.
