I can Guarantee any one who is looking to visit Coweta Community Church that it is a place where the presence of God is. They never get caught up in programs, their own agendas, or any other thing that would drive out the Presence of God. For the people who attend this church and the leadership team, the presence of God is priority. There are so many things that are positive and parts of the church that should be commended but I will just talk about may favorites. I will begin by talking about worship. The worship of God alone and glorifying Him IS why we gather and I love that we have a longer worship time in order to give God room to move. I also love that they allow people in the Body to participate in the service by having an open mic available for the congregation during service. While yes, it can be dangerous to have this available to the body to speak on what they feel God has led them to say, I applaud the leadership team on their willingness to Trust God in this area, for the sake of God's presence. Another main thing I so appreciate about Coweta Community Church is their intolerance for being culturally relevant. They present the truth of the Gospel and despite what culture is doing around us, they remain steadfast in teaching the truths of the BIBLE. They are not concerned with telling people what they want to hear, but are concerned with the conditions of peoples souls and in exhorting and edifying the body of Christ with the truth of the word of God, through the love of Christ Jesus. The last thing that I am going to commend Coweta Community Church on is their prayer, they do not compromise in the area of prayer. While many other churches I've seen fail to have prayer meetings available during the week, this church has made it a point to always pray. Tuesdays from 12-2 there are many gathered to pray on specific topics chosen from week to week and those meetings are so powerful and amazing. Then, on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 we gather again to pray on different topics each week. We often pray for the community, school systems, the church in Coweta County, and of course for the church as a nation. These times of prayer are not taken lightly and I am privileged to play my part in praying and interceding on the behalf of others! I could go on and on about my church but these are some main points that I feel strongly about and wanted to share. I have discovered that the congregation and leadership team are applying the word of God to their individual lives and applying it to the church as a whole TO THE BEST OF THEIR ABILITY! Though we are all human and imperfect God still chooses to use us and this church does a wonderful job of being completely dependent on God and His word, despite our humanness.

Coweta Community Church is truly a church that is solely focused on worship, prayer (both personal and cooperate) and welcoming God's presence. Never in my 5+ years of attending this church have I seen anything different. They never stray away from the biblical principles. The pastor's desire is that this church be modeled after the church of Act 2:42 ("They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.") and it is exactly that. This church has never been manipulated fit into the relevance of people or the culture of society, but is always been led by the Spirit of God. This church is also a place of training. The gifts of the Spirit are always practiced and fully understood. You will always be challenged to live like Jesus lived. CCC is does a good job of training and raising up the young people. I was 15 years old when I first became a member here, and I can honestly say this church has had the biggest impact on my life thus far. I am excited for the vision and spiritual growth of this church as we continue to seek the presence of God and walk as a people of revival.

Coweta Community Church is a small body of Christ that seeks to be just like the church described in Acts 2:42 "They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." CCC continually strives to become better at these aspects of the church with weekly prayer meetings, family Sundays, seminars or classes, and communion. One of my favorite parts about CCC is their honesty, they always admit when they make mistakes and they always seek to improve. The leaders are great about first seeking to glorify God in every move of the church. God is the main focus, as He always should be. Overall this church is a God fearing, God loving, God seeking, body of Christ.

I have gone to Coweta Community Church for over a decade. There have been many changes through the years-growing pains. Many of the changes have been for the better. What this church is: It is a charasmatic, full gospel church that desires to model itself after the 1st century Church. Please read your scripture for these details. The 1st century Church is nothing like the model we now experience in many Western/American churches. The Pastor is not the only member of the Body that participates in the service. The assembly (the Body) is allowed to be an integral part of the service. This church is not for by-standers unless you're hurting and looking to have minstry for those wounds. One gets to stretch oneself during services. If you feel God has given you a scripture then you may go up to the mic and share it. If God has given you an encouraging word for the Body then you may go up and share it. If you would like to lead the Body in Communion one Sunday then the leadership could allow you to share what God has shown you through SCRIPTURE about the importance of communion to you/the Body. Sometimes Christians do need how to learn to do these things as we've been instructed to be bench warmers. This is a church that allows you to learn to participate. This church is not for everybody. If you like to have your service with a few worship songs, a quick communion and a message from your Pastor that fits around your Sunday NFL game or schedule, perhaps this is not your church, but if you want to leave to see that Falcons/Braves game-there will be no condemnation. Every detail of the service can be found in scripture (the Bible) so this is NOT A CULT. If you have questions as to what's going on, then ask Pastors Pete, Joseph and Randy or a number of other mature Christians. Each are well educated, degreed-one with a Masters in Theology from Emory and the other with a PhD and the third with a Bachelors', military officers' training along with real world business experience. The leadership is well educated, grounded and of the highest integrity I've found in my many years as a Christian searching for churches. I would agree with one comment posted here in that sometimes children do run around too much, and sometimes people carry a conversation during worship-a huge pet peave of mine (particularly conversing during worship!). However, children are allowed to worship in the style of David just as the adults. It really isn't as bad as the reviewer made it out to be. We are not perfect, but we are passionate. If you do not like worship that can be robust and somewhat loud (i.e read about King David), then this is not a church for you. Coweta Communtiy Church is also passionate about their youth ministry. Many teens have been set free from all kinds of bad things in their lives. I have personally seen amazing transformation. This church is interested in helping Christians once and for all remove the junk from their lives that they have been unable to overcome by the unique Deliverance ministry. If you believe that Satan is not real, and he doesn't work in this world to destroy lives, then, this church is not for you. There are potlucks once a month as in the 1st century church and so many other ways to connect in the Body of Christ; prayer is of utmost importance at CCC. I am an educated, degreed professional who is an actual member of this church as is my family. This church has many walks of life as well as different races of people. What this church is NOT: IT IS NOT A CULT, People, check your definition of cult. Just because you don't agree with the style of worship, doesn't mean you can use a one size definition of "cult" to describe it. We don't make you drink Kool Aid, and swear allegiance to our Pastor. LOL! CCC doctrinal beliefs are open for all to see. They are doctrines totally based upon biblical principles. It's not a perfect church, but it certainly strives to be in God's will.

This is a cult! Please do NOT allow your family to be taken in by these people. They are nice and welcoming and that overshadows the twisted things they are teaching. If you do happen to visit or you are already attending, please compare what the leaders teach to the actual Bible, not what they tell you it says, but what you are actually reading in it! There is no "secret" to scripture, no "special power" or "new message". These are the things they tell you. They do not represent Jesus Christ. They represent a genie in a bottle that they call the "holy spirit". That is NOT the true Holy Spirit that is in scripture. The entire emphasis of this cult is on "prophesy", only on a few parts of the Bible and most of their scripture references are completely twisted. Please look to Christ and Christ alone. I beg you to stay away or get out if you are already there.
