I have been told about this restaurant from friends that love it. I finally stopped in and was able to try for myself! I shared clams and shrimp as appetizers and a plate of the pasta for dinner. The famous bread pudding was also an experience worth having. Everything was delicious, and the servers were quick and friendly sitting at the bar. I'll definitely go back while in town!
So excited to visit but got super disappointed. Scallop was not fresh, salty and rubbery. We left half untouched. Clams were tiny like there was no meat at all. Crabs were salty and falling apart. There were dark spots I don’t what it is, but looks like the restaurant didn’t clean the crabs at all. Salad, bread and crab soup was ok, but overall it is a bad experience. Hope that the restaurant do something to improve.
We are visiting the island for our daughter’s Spring Break. Our first night here we picked up salad, red snapper, shrimp, cheese grits, crab soup, and macaroni and cheese to share. The salad, snapper, shrimp, crab soup, and dipping sauces- tartar & cocktail- were fabulously flavorful and seriously hard to stop eating. We would recommend Crabdaddy’s to anyone!
Always good, always fresh, always going to go back. Not much else to say, severs are great and the food is spot on. Shrimp and grits are delicious and portion is huge. Blackened Mahi Mahi was exceptional. Appetizers are fantastic and the bread and homemade butter that comes with it is great. The bread pudding is a must have. Will go back every time we're on the island.
The crab soup was ok, can't say much else about it but that... We weren't expecting the salad to be served the way it was, but it was nice, and big enough for 3 ppl. The crab cakes were delicious but REALLY WET. I enjoyed rhe salad much more than those sadly. The fish with the crawfish sauce was really good, my husband really enjoyed that. But the side vegetables were steamed, there was no seasoning or butter what so ever on them, and they didn't even look appetizing. They never got touched. We sat in a room with bare white walls that looked like it was to be more used for gatherings. The remaining part of the restaurant look from what we could see to be more idea of a restaurant setting. The parking lot is very small and not slot of spots available.
Amazing food and equally amazing service!! Our group of 6 loved everything so much last year we had to come back again this year! Definitely THE place to dine at St Simons!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
I don’t give very many 5 stars. However, this restaurant did everything right and more. The kitchen looked really clean and they give you bread and endless salad when you get there. All of which was fantastic. I’m not going to lie the food is pricy but it is worth every penny. The service was also amazing with a very nice waitress. The mahi was over cooked a little but other than that this is a great restaurant and highly recommend going here!
Food was SO SO good. Service was okay.. she was nice but ignoring the table consistently talking to some other gentlemen at the bar. Food was so tasty we would go back despite the service!
Got lucky with a spot at the bar on a busy night. The service was great and the food was even better. Highly recommend the seared Tuna and Blackened Mahi special!!
The food was good, their service was extremely friendly, but all this really wasn't worth the price. The locals really seemed to like the place though.Dine in: Yes
