They have amazing home cooked food at very reasonable prices. The breakfasts are huge and delicious. They serve breakfast all day, too. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because of the long wait to get in which is probably not their fault due to it's popularity. They also have a cool country store. I would highly recommend Cracker Barrel. Just don't go on weekend mornings because they are super crowded.

First time experience on Tuesday morning about 11am. Place was busy and parking lot was full but we got right in. Staff was efficient and friendly. Breakfast time so wife and I ordered a sampler to try all that they have to offer. Eggs (undercooked) ham (tough & salty) turkey sausage (course and tough) bacon (good) biscuits (heavy and undercooked) grits (no thank you) hash brown casserole (lots of cheese) baked apples with cinnamon (best of all). Wife ordered toast and it was not delivered until she was almost done with her breakfast... and then she said it was not buttered and had no flavor. Why is it that restaurants have servers that take your order, another person who brings you drinks, and yet another person who delivers your food????? It would seem to me to be more efficient if the person that took the food order would have at least the knowledge of who ordered what and cut down on mistakes. My review would suggest that you not rush to try this place. Perhaps they will improve the food in the near future.

We signed up on line, and waited less than 15 minutes from check in. Order taken, were served and paying bill in less than 50 min. Service outstanding, and food true country...like me. Bottomless iced tea and extra ice. Opening two weeks ago and have been here several times with husband. Husband and I had the scrumptious meatloaf, okra, extra country gravy, turnip greens, green beans, pintos, and corn bread. We are around 50 minutes away and it is worth it! Management makes rounds and seem to really care if you enjoy coming there. Along with the country store they are definitely customer-oriented. Try the Cracker Barrel soon, I urge you to!

Not very organized. Called the prescribed one hour ahead for our reservation. Wich is the length of the trip to the restaurant. With the weekend rush we were told it would be two hours for the reservation. Understandable, busy day. Arrived at noon, only to be told it would be at least another 40min to be seated. Waited an hour before checking in with the staff to make sure we were not forgotten. We were assured, we were in the system. Checked back again, a while later. Staff said we never mad it on the check in list. Took three hours to be seated, not including the two hour advance for the reservation. No discount was applied for the mistake. Family was pissed off about the wait. Pretty sure we won't be going back. Additionally, the entrance was a fire trap. As a horde of people stood in line inside the gift shop to all the way around the block.

Amazing first day. Busy as expected, but the team here worked together really well and kept wait times to a minimum. During the diner rush we waited less than 40 minutes for a table. Service was quick and polite. Food was delicious and extremely well priced. We will definitely be coming here often.
