Story

Craig Funeral Home was established in 1915 on Granada Street in St Augustine, Florida. We are a four generation family owned and operated company in St Augustine, Florida. We are the only full service funeral provider offering funeral services, cremation, memorials and pre-planning services. At Craig Funeral Home we take pride in offering our families a wide variety of options within our state of the art facility. We were the first to offer a private, on-premise crematory for families in our community. We strive to provide the latest in funeral and memorial services. We now offer our families live webcasting of the service. Every family has the option to receive a free personalized DVD tribute as a gift from the Craig family.

I cannot say enough good things about Justin and Craig's Funeral Home and all the staff. During the hardest time of my life, losing my father and then my mother 4 years later, they helped with every step of the way.  Due to me being the only family member in Florida, I had lots of requests and changes.  Justin worked through all of this with me.  He was so understanding and patient and even allowed me to call and text him on his cell phone.  He helped me arrange the actual burial in Maryland at the veterans cemetary and made that process easy.  At a time when you can't even think straight, the comfort knowing the details were all taken care of, cannot be put into words. Thank you Justin

I lost my Father recently and to say the least, it was a very difficult time.  I had heard great things about Craig Funeral Home and they were all true.  The staff at Craig were amazingly kind and supportive.  We are and always be eternally grateful for what they have done for us.  From giving advice to how to handle certain business matters they had the knowledge to assist, guide and help.  Thank you Craig funeral Home you have our gratitude and appreciation forever and yes, they are the best so take my advice and allow them to assist you in your difficult time.

Craig Funeral Home is the leading funeral home, crematory and memorial park in St Augustine and St Johns County.  As soon as you step in the office you feel confident that "everything will be OK...."   These are truly professionals who know what they are doing.  The focus is on celebrating the life of someone.  The staff are warm, family-focused people who work hard to make a difficult time as easy as possible.

We arrived for the service with clergy, had our small service & the undertaker, Rusty, never greeted us, we found our way, everything was set up nicely.  When it was time to leave he was speaking with others, could not get his attention.  After standing around waiting, I had to gather everything myself, walked by him and still no response from Rusty.  It was humiliating to say the least.  This happened sometime ago, but it still bothers me.  My sister had overdosed, I felt he deliberately shunned us.

When you need the services of a Funeral Home after losing a loved one, there is only one place to go in St. Augustine, FL and that is Craig's Funeral Home. They helped us make our arrangements and handled every detail with professionalism and aplomb. Our family is extremely grateful to the entire staff at Craig's Funeral Home for taking care of our deceased family member and helping us through the process under such difficult, emotional circumstances. Thank you for everything you did to help our family!  We are forever thankful for your caring and support.
