Very cool National Park where you can see almost everything in a day. The facility was very clean and the people were very knowledgeable about the different areas of the park. It was really fun to walk over the lava rock and take the trails they have. I also enjoyed going into the caves, but make sure not to bring any clothing from other cave adventures because of some fungus that can harm the bats. It was definitely worth the stop and I hope I am fortunate enough to come back again some day.

Awesome national park, kind of weird to see lava rocks in an area you might not expect. Visited in February, scenic drive is closed to cars but you can hike on foot. Beautiful with sunny weather, great landscapes. Definitely worth the drive, looking forward to visiting in warmer weather.

Fabulous and interesting park with incredible vistas. The lava flows are interesting to look at. Go before it gets too hot though. The visitor center is really nice and there are nice hiking trails. There is some limited camping areas and RV parking. The vistas are incredible and it is spectacular to view during the few weeks the wildflower bloom is in full mode. This park is absolutely worth the visit.

We arrived in December so it was pretty much covered in snow and there was a bitting wind. All of the roads on the loop were shut. You can park up at visitor centre, grab a map and walk the trails. Make sure you are dressed for the weather though as you will freeze with the windchill if not careful. Also be careful of your footing when snow is on ground as it can be slippy in places. Fascinating park to explore and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Good displays in visitor centre, helpful staff and good restrooms. Would recommend.

A great place to see strange things. If you on the way to Yellowstone it´s definitely worth to drive by and check this landscape out. The rock formation is very unique and it really look like the moon surface.
