The food and games are fairly priced which is great for bigger groups. The lanes are pretty dry, enough to just use my spare ball. The technology is a little bit old school but it isn't that hard to use. The only down side to the technology is that it doesn't show your ball speed.
My honest review. I am an amateur bowler, but I still like good conditions. The lanes at Crestwood bowl were less than ideal, dry and worn with visible indentions in the lanes themselves. The approach was also not waxed. So on my first attempt I tripped and fell over, when I expected to slide. The ball returns made a divot in my ball but that is likely due to the fact that the return is ancient. This bowling alley is old but classic in design. It seems like a great place for kids and families. But for league bowlers and enthusiast, look somewhere else.
Well-priced, friendly staff, user-friendly computer, convenient and AVAILABILITY. After being turned away by two other bowling alleys because of league bowling, I called Crestwood. I was told that they were having league bowling as well, but that they leave a few lanes open for open bowl and to "come on over." The gentleman then told me the prices...I forget what it is before 6 p.m. but after 6 it's $3.75 per game. Myself and my situationship bowled two games and each had a Blue Moon the drinks were added to the tab at the desk...convenience . The total came to twenty-one dollars! That is not bad AT ALL considering what we've paid at other facilities. It's almost like a gem hidden in plain sight. I've officially made it my new bowling spot. The atmosphere was old school, which gave me nostalgic memories of bowling as a kid. I'm glad they understand that not everyone is in a league and just want to be able to bowl freely on a Thursday evening.
Went for a solo practice around noon on a Winter Saturday. Got a lane fairly quickly, given shoes. They didn’t quote me a price for bowling but I noticed when I left that the prices are posted behind the counter, I think it was $3.50 per game and $4.50 for shoes for the time that I was there. The first pair of shoes I got were very slippery and I couldn’t keep them on well, the second pair was a little smaller but also kind of slippery, even though I managed to bowl fine with those. Bowled a three game session with house balls and had a very good time. Wished I could’ve had a drink or two but I only saw a snack bar and no bar. Tl;dr: Shoes weren’t great but had a good time - pricing reasonable.
Fun place, lane seemed well kept. ~$19 for shoes and 3 games per person, so not too terrible price-wise. Staff was pleasant.
A fun atmosphere and good times. Giving full 5 stars, has vintage aesthetic and lights at night. Food and drink both alcoholic and non-alcoholic are available as well. Definitely a lot of fun and good deals for bowling.
It's a very friendly and nice place for kids party to adults party. Had a ball there for my birthday.
Good time, great experience. Staff were friendly and very accommodating.
Just went here for a bachelorette party, we had a really nice size private room with its own bathroom the people that work here are very friendly and helpful. The place was clean & well taken care of a good time was had by all
I recently went with my granddaughter to a party that was booked at Crestwood Bowl, by one of my grandaughter's friends. The people that worked at the Crestwood Bowl were amazing! The people that greeted us at the front check in, and the lady that worked in the snack bar, were very friendly, helpful, and professional. I highly recommend Crestwood Bowl to anyone who would like to go to a clean, safe, and FUN place to bowl!
