Many reviews you find online will tell you about the awful conditions simply because puppies are kept in smaller enclosures, but people keep other small mammals in tanks the exact same size so whats the difference? If you look at the Facebook page (which I highly recommend if you like cute puppies and good deals) there are posts about puppy recess out back, showing a stampede of puppy fun. Some people complain about the smell, its a pet store. They sell animals. Living things. Some that produce musky oils. And all animals poop. OF COURSE IT'S GONNA SMELL. It isn't exactly a pleasant smell but it's not something that I couldn't stand to smell for a few hours. From what I've seen the animals the keep are in good condition, the sick animals that people purchase is the fault of breeders and distributors NOT the store itself. If you do your research before you buy (which should always be the case, pets are not impulse buys) then you should be able to tell if an animal is sick or not before you purchase it. I love the atmosphere of the store and its always great to support a local business. 5 stars Critter Corner!

The animals are in awful living conditions here. I can’t speak to most of the exotic pets here, but I know a few things about dogs and birds. They have terrariums with multiple puppies each inside, which is way too crowded. They had a small container on the counter - less than 1’x1’x1’ - that had about five budgies in it, but that enclosure wouldn’t be adequate for even one budgie. Because it was so crowded, there was soggy poop floating in their water. The budgies at the front were labeled “baby budgies,” but all but one had bold cere (nose) colors, which means they were adults. In the back, a larger atrium housed multiple budgies, but there was only branches and a nesting box inside - no toys for them to play with. The branches were turned white from being pooped on; I couldn’t tell the last time it had been cleaned. There was also a female budgie inside sitting on an egg, but her enclosure was open on the front for people to look once, when nesting budgies are supposed to have as private nesting boxes as possible to avoid stress. There were two macaws in a bigger enclosure in a different part of the store, but they had no toys in their cage either. The rest of the store was crowded and kind of dirty. It made me really sad to see animals being kept in these kinds of conditions.

The place was disgusting. 4 puppies in a 55 gallon tank, turtle shells cracked, small animals not getting the proper care. They need to realize the mistreatment they have given to these animals the past years. The employees seemed to not care if you were even interested in buying anything. The cages were not even close to clean, some of the animals looked sick and close to death. Outrageous prices for anything so you can’t really help the animals out:/

Puppies are not supposed to be stored in fish tanks. Get proper, spacious cages for your animals and take better care of the place. You shouldn't even be a store.

Critter Corner sold the wrong filter to my wife. 3 weeks later I returnef it for a refund and the girl said, " this is more than 30 days and she wouldn't give me a refund". So after showing her that it really was like 21 or 22 days since purchasing, she exclaimed that I couldn't get a refund because it was more than 48 hours. So, after I got upset, she made a phone call and got permissiin to give me a refund. Did I mention that she actually ignored me standing at the counter for 6 or 7 minutes. Real nice place to do business. Not!
