I love this place! Great for my 7 month old as well! The babies in blossom group is amazing! They have a lot of free events which are always nice!

The library has an okay selection of books, and of course you can always request a book transfer from another library (be prepared to wait several days or be told it's only 30 min away so you could just drive it). Though it has a kids' area with some toys and even a child's bathroom, do not expect your children to truly be welcome. The excitement a young child has at finding a new dinosaur or princess book will be quickly met with a librarian telling you your child is too loud in an empty library. I do not find the librarians to be helpful or knowledgeable at all- even when asking about popular series.  Use the online to request a book hold, dash in, grab and quickly leave.  It's all them seem to want from their patrons.

The librarians are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. This is one of the best libraries in Anne Arundel County.
