Beautiful new structure with childrens reading space, high-tech study rooms for students and learning rooms (i.e. sewing classes or computer software) for adults. There is a cool aquarium feature by the lighted square arch that one can stare at all day long. The high steel-framed roof can heighten your perspective on how new & modern libraries are built to serve future generations. Facility includes free parking, handicap access, a D-I-Y center (you rent cake pans to tools) & business center. Thumbs up to HCLS on this project!

This library is a hidden gem no kidding! Its quiet, they make do with what they have, and its a great spot to work on projects! Ive been coming here since I moved here from California and the staff is so nice. Except for the guy with the tattoos on his head. Don't really know what his problem is, but he's extremely rude whenever I'm there; but he's only rude to me. Someone will ask him a question or for help and hes extremely nice to them; takes his time with them, shows them what they need, etc. If I ask him something he acts like I'm wasting his time and talks to me like I'm stupid. Ive been coming here for 5 months. He is literally the only staff member with an attitude. So since I don't know what the issue is, just be wary of him.

The best people work there and Phil Lord is a super caring manager who always goes above and beyond for everyone that steps foot in this library!

The Elkridge branch library has an amazing staff. They are my extended family. My children and I have been coming to this branch for 17 years!! I have NEVER had a bad experience here.
