This place isn't cheap but was totally worth it. The vanilla milkshake was very vanilla and I liked the coconut flavor. The Impossible Burger tastes just like a real burger straight from In-N-Out. Costs $14 but who would've known this was possible?! So cool. Only issue was I didn't get pickles with my burger after being asked if I wanted them and saying yes. All else perfect.

I came for breakfast on the weekend and was bummed to hear they only offer the impossible burger during the week, but the impossible sausage in the breakfast sandwich was awesome!!! I loved it as a vegetarian and my boyfriend loved it as a meat eater. Also our waiter was super friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to order. We also got the chicken Milanese and loved that too! If you're feeling desert the PBJ sundae was killer. I was nervous it was going to be a literal interpretation but with candied peanuts and a berry reduction it was really good.

If I could rate this establishment negative stars, I would: The service was horrendous from the moment my party and I entered the doors on 1 June 2017 around 21:00. It began with the extremely inappropriate behaviour of the host and hostess. We had just came down from a hike in the Hills and I apologized for our rather laid back attire. After asking the host if we should run home and change he literally responded, "Uh, well, this is a fine dining restaurant but we'll seat you," in the rudest possible tone. The hostess that escorted us to our table was unpleasant and gave us the most demeaning looks that I have ever encountered. Our server, Grant, was polite at first but developped an unfathomable attitude when we expressed that we weren't that hungry and didn't order three dishes each. He lacked eye contact, whipped our napkins around in anger, and was slinging our dishes around while collecting our empty plates. We were absolutely willing to stick around and make more cocktail purchases but we weren't even asked for a second round... I was thrilled to experience this place as a few friends told me how wonderful it would be. Unfortunately, we traveled almost 200 miles from our apartment in downtown San Diego to be treated like peasants. On a positive note, the valet attendant was incredible...so this one star belongs to him.

Amazing Crossroads Kitchen. Vegan heaven and I'm not even vegan : Tried the mission salad and almond milk latte both were great. I would love to try many more items of their menu. Great vibe in this place and super sweet staff.

I know this place is all the rage in the vegan world. But I just wasn't that impressed. The food was good, it just wasn't that good. I've had far better and for less $$. However, if you're going to check out The Groundlings Theatre, you may as well eat here because it's convenient and vegan so that's good.
