Amazing food and great service always. I have been here twice and it never disappoints. My most recent trip I saw Michael Voltaggio himself working in the kitchen and with the staff! My favorite dishes have to be the laughing bird shrimp and the street corn. I also had the blended scotch cocktail which was delicious and balanced. I hope they update the menu again soon so I can try more delicious food :D

We typically venture to a nice dinner on Xmas Eve but this year we went to Ink, 8360 Melrose for dim sum brunch. I have to say, it took us longer to get there than it did for us to finish our meal. I'm not a dim sum expert however I do love dim sum. The food was delicious, plenty of variety, service was fast, and we all left with fully bellies and a tab that was less than a trip to the gas station.

This really is a great place! It is a bit pricey, but the decor does much to create a perfect atmosphere. What does even more is the fantastic hip-hop from the 90's and 00's playing at the perfect level just below blaring. It also has an open view of the kitchen from pretty much the entire restaurant, giving you a chance to see celebrity Chef Voltaggio in action. The food is small plates American food, and it really is very, very good. I would actually like to give this establishment 4.75 stars, since I've had better food at similar prices (admittedly not I'm L.A., but rather Chicago), but the combination of food, atmosphere, decor, and service makes it far above a four-star restaurant.

What can I say, love the inventiveness of the food! Highlights were the salt charcoal potatoes, egg yolk gnocchi and the street corn. For an entree we got the lamb belly which was delicious. A must have for dessert is the apple with caramel and ice cream which is like a deconstructed apple pie. Soo delicious and fun to eat! Loved the ambience and attentive service. The waiters always had water replenished and were really professional. Love this place!

The food is weird but delicious. Portions are skimpy, yet they are artsy with great presentation. The ambiance is ideal for a rendez-vous. Service is adept matching the menu's pricey bill.
