Delicious food for a reasonable price. The wait staff are incredibly friendly as well. I'd estimate there's only a dozen tables, so you're likely going to wait some amount of time, but it's worth it. One of the best restaurants in town!

I have been here multiple times and the food is always great. But recently they have become very inefficient in their seating. There was a time when they seated a 4 people party on the only 6 people table the restaurant when my 6 person party was waiting. We had to go somewhere else for lunch. Today, I have been waiting for 2 hours. 1 hour to be seated another to be served. I would have gone somewhere else but the server told us that table will be ready in 15 minutes over and over again. I hope the management can get it's act together.

This has reliably been one of my favorite restaurants since I moved to Kalamazoo. The setting is eclectic and has a ton of character. Lots of unique menu items with excellent and local ingredients. Options for vegans, vegetarians, people with allergies, and meat lovers. The coffee is better in the shop downstairs but still better than most in the restaurant. Easy parking.

Popped in here for a quick lunch with my husband. We were seated by the window pretty much as soon as we walked in. It took our server a little while to come over to the table at first, which is why I took off a star. However, once she did come over, she seemed pretty attentive and we got our food in a timely fashion. I have to say that the portions here are really big! I got two pieces of french toast and each piece was at least an inch/inch and a half thick! I couldn't even finish it there was so much! It was so delicious though and you can tell that the bread was freshly made. My husband also really enjoyed his scramble and potatoes, which were also a huge portion. For the price and the quality of food, you can't beat it. I would definitely come back here when I'm in Kalamazoo!

Crow's Nest is a staple for breakfast and after the bar eats on the weekends (only 24 hours on Saturdays) in Kalamazoo. The food quality is higher than your average breakfast place and they have some interesting options to choose from. The ingredients are fresh and the breads are baked on site. This is a good choice for breakfast or brunch with a wonderful coffee shop downstairs to relax in afterward.
