They have never replied to my e-mails or phone calls concerning the where abouts of my ID card. It's now Feb. and I can't even request a TA cruise rate without my ID. They were quick to take my money in Sept. by automatic renewal but not quick to follow up on my ID. Someone should do something about CLIA...we are paying too much money now for the lack of service.

I have been trying for 2 weeks to call them on the telephone. After long holds am asked to leave a message or am disconnected. The message says my call will be returned within 2 business days. Still waiting. Have tried to send emails also - no reply. How do we get in touch with our CLIA team???????

There is no service at all. They will not return your call or emails. They can not keep up with your records or training, and always trying to suck money out of you. I had submitted my materails for my certification including my log book. Everythong passed, and I was granted my certification, and later on they, told me that they didn;t get my log book, and everytime I submit it, they denied it, untiI I finall talk with someone and everything was there. The staff has no knowledge of what their job are and the purpose of clia. I have renewed my membership, but my profile still has my last year information saying expired. It is very very upsetting when you finally get someone, and you try to explain to them the situation, and the service rep. cannot solve the problem and transfer you to some one else, and then it start all over again, with trying to get someone on the phone or to call you back, or even email you back. : IS CLIA WORTH THE MONEY: I can go on and on

CLIA membership is largely a pre-requisite for a cruise focused agency, however for the fees charged, the support is terrible. No one will answer calls, emails are ignored (despite being sent 3 or more times), voicemails are supposed to be replied to "in 2-3 business days" which in itself is poor but they don't even hold themselves to this standard. We've also had issues with several of the "exclusive benefits" where cruise lines flat out deny the application of these special benefits. When reported to CLIA, they just ignore you.
