I give this gym 3 stars because the staff is friendly and helpful and the gym itself is adequate. The crowd that frequents this gym is just horrendous. If you're planning a career as a mixed martial art fighter had your butt redone or a tattoo on your neck this might be the spot for you.

If you are looking for a fairly nice, basic weightlifting gym in South Beach, this one is pretty good. A few racks, great selection of heavy dumbbells, good selection of machines, nice stretching areas. The entrance is somewhat oddly not on Alton but on the back alley behind it. Also across the street on Alton is a great nutrition/protein/etc shop and next door a nice gourmet market. Good for post workout feeding.

My experience at Crunch located at Alton Road, has been positive so far! I was assisted with my membership by Gil. Easy procedure and great service! Monday thru Friday it opens at 5:30 in the morning and this fits very well with my 5:00 am waking up ritual. I will keep updated as get to try the other features!

It's not a huge gym but they have plenty of machines for a worthwhile workout. $35 daily rate, $105 weekly or monthly I'm not sure because I was staying for just one week. The staff were friendly and helpful. The crowd was also polite and friendly. Once you sign up here you can use the other Crunch gyms too!

Bathrooms needs to be touched up/redone. Let's just say 80% of the people who go to gyms take something supplements,protein. They make you have to go sometimes. Which makes the bathrooms very important. Last thing a person should think is "I'll wait til I get home.
