Standard rent hikes. My rent has gone up 27% in about 16 months of use. I think every storage place does it, knowing that once your things are there it costs just as much to move them. But still. Awesome way to treat customers.

CubeSmart on 175 R St NE has excellent customer service. I reserved a unit online, they followed up with a phone call, I came in to see it, signed some papers and moved in the next day. The monthly rent seems reasonable, although I've never had storage before to compare it to. Oh and the hallways aren't too creepy as long as you get in and out, lol. All in all, i'm satisfied.

Cubesmart is the best storage facility I has ever experienced I would recommend anyone for this facility if needed

It's in D.C., a very nice part of D.C. You're going to pay extra for that. But it deserves to be in that neighborhood. It's as easy to find as anything is in D.C. I had my stuff in there for a little more than a year. The online payment system was a little difficult to figure out. I dealt with the employees when I moved in and when I moved out. And both times, I received friendly, helpful service. Climate controlled and bug free. The only complaint I had was there the loading bays aren't always open. When I was moving out, there was only one bay open and there was a another group moving in. There was some creative maneuvering that had to be done.

I feel that this is a bait and switch business model. I joined in 2014 and my cost was 54.40. Now, three years later it's over $82. While, if I joined new, it would be in the low $60s. Great service, and location. Just wish they would be more ethical in their pricing
