I got there at 745 am on a Monday morning and the line was probably about 40 people deep already. I was mentally prepared to spend my whole day there to get my license renewed if I had to because hey...It's the DMV. Everyone I dealt with was cool. At about 815 I had my number and was waiting to be called. By 9 I was done with my picture and out the door. I had a great experience. Maybe I was a fluke but it seemed like they handled everyone just as quickly and kindly as they did me.

The fastest service I ever had. Came to the DMV for a renewal registration, I was waiting in line for about 25mins and then one of the employees came out and said who ever is here for a renewal registration and has all the paperwork ready can go to the machine and pay without having to wait long hours in line. So I guess people got so annoyed that they started to ask questions that were not related to the renewal registrations but I on the other hand had my 2017 registrations renewal notice along with my smog check so I had everything I needed to go pay at the self serve machine and as quick as 3mins I was out with my new registration and sticker. That was fast 😂😂😂😂 thanks to that lady that came out to let us know otherwise I would have been there for like 3 hours.

Can't make an appointment because the next availability is 2 months away. Went here 4 times to have different employees tell me different things, often contradicting other employees (some genuinely trying to be helpful, others clearly think you're a waste of thier time). Unfortunately you have to wait an hour and a half before you get to a window. The last time I went there was a system error statewide, wasn't able to get my ID. Wish there was a way to do these things online.

Let's be honest - everybody hates the DMV. You always have to wait for hours and if you don't wait something else is missing. But I have to admit after waiting for over 2 hours the staff was really friendly and tried to help us where ever they could. I haven't noticed one person who was rude and c'mon a few people who go to the DMV have a bad attitude before they even get there, so it's all on you.
