Royal Palms you are not what you once where, before you were less adulterated, you had the element of natural beauty, charm and the free spirit. No more, you have become a clutter of cactus, smelly toilets, criminal elements who visit on warm summer afternoons, and hazards to many to mention. What needs to happen is for the county to outline a calendar plan to clean up the place. (1) Remove the cactus, people can do with sharp objects when enjoying the scenery (2) Repair or remove hazards to people, such as open electrical boxes, Then remove 5 doz. feral cats that spread disease and feces. (3) Complete the most needed work on the Sanitary facilities, we have No Useable restrooms, swimmers need a place to change (4) Provide a secondary summer lifeguard during weekends. This area needs a partnership of authority to prevent accidents. (5) Put pressure on those responsible to the South, to finish the road work, and see Paseo Del Mar for what it was, an erosion problem, repairing it with heavy granite stone base or concrete erosion blocks, back filled, and paved. Mexicans 1 completed a more difficult job in two weeks!!! Whereas San Pedro has been duped by foolery! It is now nothing but a make work project What we want is an outlined plan of operation, and develop forward thinking, in place of neglect.
