Consistently a great choice for fast food with the family. Kids always leave happy. They delivered my youngest daughter's ice cream wrong. By the time we realized it and walked back up to the counter, they had the replacement ready. Gotta love that.

This place has changed dramatically in both customer service and food quality. And it's not in the good way. The management has changed so much and has lost the appeal just to go to visit which is rare to find but this place used to be somewhere you wouldn't just go to eat but you'd want to chat and felt welcomed. Now most of the workers there just seem like lifeless drones with no care but to get you out of there. My most recent visit there was it for me though. My burger had wax paper between the cheese and the bun I'm guessing from the cheese. But when I called to get this replaced at a later date I was informed I would receive something to compensate for the mistake that was made. It's been about 2 months and I received nothing and when they took all my info I was informed the store manager would give me a call back as well which never happened. I truly recommend you find somewhere else as there are far better choices around the area. I'm only giving 2 stars because of what it used to be.

Great butter burgers. Man these are on point. Fries are great too. I got a double butter burger with cheese. So delicious. This location was quick and they bring the food out to you. I would go more often if I wasn't trying to eat healthier.

Yuck.  Cholesterol City is what they should rename this.  

I know this is a "Wisconsin Place" and has lots of beef, cheese, milk and ice cream.  And that is good.  But.   The ice cream is so thick it coats my teeth for several hours until I can brush, and I mean BRUSH my teeth.  

The Butter Burger should have a skull and crossbones on it because of all the high fat beef, and the cheese and the fat dripping of the burger when it is presented for eating.  Just my opinion.  I know some love it that way.

I like the fried fish though.  It is greasy and is tender and crispy.  I take the crispy parts of partly though. I don't like so much fat in my diet.

The side dish green beans are always way undercooked.  The side salad is ok.

We ordered a large waffle cone and received more like a small portion inside it. When we brought it to the employees attention, she insisted on it being a large since it was in a waffle cone. Since we have gone to Culver's several times and ordered this same thing, we knew it was not right. Normally I am the first to think people overreact but this was insultingly small for a large. I had more custard in my mini concrete mixer and I'm not over exaggerating. The employee had an attitude but finally put more custard inside the cone. It could have been her, or an off night because normally we have a very pleasant experience at Culver's, but the few times I have been to the Merrillville location,  I have not been happy.
