We are not bashful about our feelings for our cupcakes. They are made by our experienced chefs right in our bustling shop in Fairfax Corner.

Our weekly cupcake lineup features an exquisite variety of custom flavors and even offers vegan and gluten free cupcakes for those with special diets. Cupcakes Actually exclusive signature cupcakes are dipped – lavishly bathed in top-coats of chocolate ganache.

Good cupcakes, minimal selection. This is a small bakery, however, so the small selection is to be expected. What they do offer is consistently quite good.

I met with Joelle from Cupcakes Actually on June 1, 2017 and we discussed my sons first birthday party, I had sent her images of the smash cake and ideas for both the cupcakes and cake pops. When the meeting concluded on June 1st Joelle said she would get back to my with pricing by the following week. Its now June 17 and I have heard nothing, to include being blatantly ignored when sending an email for an update. While their cupcakes are delicious, being disrespectful when I am trying to pay for services and being ignored is extremely unprofessional. Luckily I have a large network of friends in the area who were too appalled by the way Joelle has handled this situation -- I am not forced to shop around for another bakery. Cupcakes Actually YOU SUCK.

Always a quick and friendly experience. for the best texture and flavor, go earlier in the day. Even still, they have the best red velvet cupcake I've had in the area.

I went for the first time and picked up a peanut butter dipped cupcake. One of the associates told me about the gluten free chocolate cupcake so I tried it... AMAZING. So sweet and moist, not to mention ridiculously chocolaty!

They are actually cupcakes. There is no denying that. They are a good example of the somewhat overprices but tastier than they ever used to be cupcake phenomenon., and you don't have to drive to DC to get them.
