Story

We're excited to be in the original building of the Maurhoff Grocery which was in business for 150 years in the historic town of Saxonburg, PA.

Oh if this old building could talk! It may not be able to but we are fortunate to have many folks who remember the old store and we love to hear the stories. We have pictures from the Maurhoff days as well as an original display case which was just returned to it's old home in December having spent many years in a local museum. The charm of the building is wonderful and the owner and Cheese Monger have done their best to bring the old charm back.

With plenty of space to sit and enjoy your cheese, meats and wine (if you bring it yourself) we welcome you to Curds & Molds Fromagerie. Come enjoy some FREE samples and try something new.

We have plenty of free parking on the street and in our rear parking lot as well and we are handicap accessible.
