I went to this place to get a very simple balayage that's a few tones lighter than my dark brown hair and trim. I paid over $200 for the service. The girl who helped me out with pretty good in terms of socializing, however she had done the colour before the cut, and so when she cut my hair majority of the colour had gone. So I paid $200 for basically just a standard trim and colour (thats basically non apparent). I asked her if the colour would be more vivid, and she had mentioned to be that because she just lifted the colour, it will lighten as I wash. A month later, I'm stuck with a $200 poorly done job. 

To top that off, when I went in exactly a week later to book another appointment, NO ONE told me that if I was unhappy that I could get it redone. So when I booked one for two weeks after the cut, the ladies working there told me I should've called in a week before to get it redone. 

My question is HOW on earth is the customer supposed to know that? It's your job to inform the paying customer right after the haircut and especially when I came back. 

Overall, it's a whatever place. I wouldn't recommend. Take your hard earned money where you could get a better job done for possibly even cheaper.

Had a junior stylist cut my hair, name starts with an S I believe. I recently moved from Scarborough and I am so glad that I don't have to drive all the way down there to get my hair cut. She did an amazing job and I will be coming here from now on.

I asked for bouncy curls, it took 2 hours and the result was not what I had asked for. The curls disappeared after 2 hours! Needless to say that I paid $55 for this service!!!

I went to the mall today, hoping to get a quick hair cut, last minute, didn't have a lot of time, I first went to Tonyc, they didn't have anyone available, but they called Curio for me, which I was very impressed that they did that, and sure enough they had the time for me. I was in and out in no time, Carmela did a great job, I will definitely be returning!

I currently got a manicure and pedicure promotion ($56.00 after taxes). I thought was a great deal.  My experience there was great, the lady was wonderful to talk to. However, my manicure is chipping away...looks terrible now. She was rushing not taking her time to apply correctly. I work in retail so, I have to look my best. Now, I have to get my nails redone else where. 

Beware of how they apply the nail polish. I'm disappointed with my service after the great things I heard from Curio clients.
