Our family highly recommends Patrick Curley and his team to anyone who is looking for expertise and guidance with Elder Law services.    The process of dealing with the law, finances, MA Health, and especially the emotional toll can be overwhelming for a family.    While our family was not in crisis mode, Patrick and his team were very professional, thoughtful and helpful during the process.   Most important, they were there and delivered results during the critical parts of the process.    They dealt directly with the MA Health department on our behalf and the results were great.   Additionally, and probably more important, was the responsiveness of both Patrick and Debbie.  Whether it was during the process of applying for services, or a legal question, or a financial impact question, (there were many!!), Patrick and Debbie were constantly right back to us with the answers.    We always had peace of mind for our entire family knowing we had the Curley team working with us to get the best outcome for our entire family, but especially for our Dad. We have been working with Patrick Curley and his staff this year concerning Mass Health/Elder Care Law/Estate Planning. Patrick is extremely knowledgeable but just as important he and his staff are responsive, thorough, and compassionate to the sensitivity of the issues at hand.  I would not hesitate to recommend his firm as we are completely satisfied with the services provided.

When my mom passed away, the MassHealth Estate Recovery Unit made a claim against my mom's estate for far more than the estate was worth.  The estate consisted mainly of an old, small house.  By the time the claim was made, I had already paid a great deal of money out of my own pocket expecting to get the money back when the house sold.  When I explained the situation to the case worker for the claim, I was told that most of my expenses would not be allowed.  I was going to lose a great deal of money.  That is when I hired Patrick Curley.  Patrick and his staff did an amazing job resolving the situation.  He guided me in gathering the information that would best present my case and put together an impressive package for negotiating an agreement with the case worker.  Patrick was easy to talk with and could be contacted easily.  But most of all, he did an outstanding job.  I highly recommend Patrick Curley.

I would highly recommend Curley Law Firm LLP for your estate planning needs. Attorney Patrick Curley helped both of my parents get on Mass Health Residential and he saved our home from a Mass Health lien.We will be forever grateful to Attorney Curley and his staff.

It my pleasure to recommend Attorney Patrick Curley for any of your elder law/estate planning issues. Mr. Curley assisted my family when my father needed nursing home care. As an attorney, I did not feel competent to handle this very specialized area of law. I was impressed with Mr. Curley’s dedication to serving the elderly community. He has many years of experience dealing solely with elderly law and estate planning issues, and is a certified elder law attorney. I knew he would be the right attorney to help my family navigate through the challenging Medicaid application process.

I was highly impressed with Mr. Curley’s presentation upon first meeting him. He drove to the nursing home to meet my family due to my father’s immobility. He was friendly, compassionate, and empathetic. He patiently listened to my family’s concerns and helped formed a plan to meet my family’s goals and expectations. He provided zealous representation throughout our time together at an affordable price. He not only compiled and submitted the Medicaid paperwork, but also worked with the nursing home during the period of transition from private pay to Medicaid benefits.  After my father was approved, we determined that Mr. Curley saved our family over $100,000 in private pay nursing home costs.  

Elder law and estate planning are complex areas of law. I was very impressed with the services that my family received from Mr. Curley.  I will be sure to contact his office in the future if we ever encounter an elder law or estate planning issue again.
