Story

After fifteen years in business at the Curry Village, Weais and Ali Afzal pioneers of Indian cuisine in Kingston left and opened Curry Original restaurant in an old stone - walled space overlooking the waterfront that once housed a local theatre company. Curry Original has since been in existence at this historic location for over 12 years.

You can watch the chefs at work through a window frame which comes from 24 Sussex Drive in Ottawa.
In the summer time, enjoy your meal on our outside balcony overlooking Lake Ontario.

With a combined 40 years of restaurant experience, Ali and Weais will provide you with a memorable luncheon or evening dining experience.

Curry Original is fully licensed by the LCBO.

Lunch 11:30am-2:00pm Tuesday to Saturday

Dinner Tuesday to Thursday 5:00pm-9:30pm

Dinner Friday and Saturday 5:00pm - 10:00pm

Sunday Closed for Lunch and Open for Dinner from 5:00pm-9:00pm
