We met with Jill Fost almost a year ago to start planning our dream trip to Africa. We were travelling with 4 adults and wanted a trip tailored only to us instead of being part of a prepackaged tour with a big group - we always feel like part of a herd on those trips and prefer the freedom of being on our own. As experienced travellers we usually research and plan trips ourselves, but this was a new area of the world for us with overwhelming options and a higher level of travel risk, so we wanted the security of having matters organized by a knowledgeable professional.  Jill was extremely helpful, professional and collaborative at all stages of this process.  She has extensive knowledge of Africa and helped us narrow down our travel plan.  She provided us with great options for safari lodges and city stays within our budget, and all of the places she recommended were top notch. There were lots of moving parts as getting around Africa is not simple, Jill just took care of everything. She arranged private drivers, activities at locations and flights as needed. She also partnered with a like-minded travel consultant in Africa so we had support on the ground during the trip.  We felt fully cared for and secure every step of the way, while still enjoying the bespoke tour experience we were looking for.  Everything went smoothly, and we had the trip of a lifetime. We were thrilled with the places we went and the things we saw, all of which Jill had a hand in.  I would highly recommend Jill for any travel needs. When we plan our next "outside the box" trip, Jill will be the first call we make!

Booked my first solo overseas trip with Jill from Custom Adventures.  I could not have been happier.  Jill took care of the tour, flights and hotels.  She made everything easy and comforting.  She also helped plan for a potential Air Canada strike which was very nice.  A recommend for any new solo travelers.

I was looking to go to Italy with my 14 year old son.  Feeling a little overwhelmed about traveling to a new country, I turned to social media and saw a raving recommendation for Jill Fost of Custom Adventures. And dissapoint, she did not!  From listening to my interests to recommending and booking my trip, Jill provided stellar customer service to the very detail.  Even when I had a small crisis at the airport, Jill was there to support and provide advice. I chose an 8 day Intrepid Hiking/Kayaking tour to the Amalfi Coast in Italy and experienced the best trip I could ever imagine.  The sights were spectacular, hotels top notch, and the group we traveled with, so welcoming. Would definitely recommend Jill to anyone looking for advice, knowledge, and dependability. She will certainly be my first and only contact for my next adventure.

Jill is such a fun person to work with, and you can tell she absolutely loves travel. When you plan a trip with her, you know you’re going to get a truly personalized experience. She doesn’t just put together cookie-cutter itineraries; she plans vacations the way they’re supposed to be done—in my opinion. I recently booked a trip to Scotland using Custom Adventures. Not only was this vacation of a lifetime a great experience, but it was also a great experience working with Jill and her team at Custom Adventures. They were very helpful, responsive and had a network of amazing tour guides with local knowledge that enriched our experience. I had never used a travel agency and I really liked the fact that if anything came up while travelling, I could rely on them to help. Thanks to Jill Fost  @ Custom Adventures we had an amazing 25 day private tour for four to Portugal. We were a little overwhelmed with the planning but Jill solved that with her knowledgeable suggestions! Jill was great to work with and helped us develop and refine a detailed itinerary to meet our needs and our budget.  She suggested fantastic gems of hotels and fun, professional tours and activities.  Everything went very smoothly and made for a great stress free holiday. I will definitely organize more trips with Custom Adventures and highly recommend their services.

We just returned from a 2-week whirlwind trip in Spain and France. Jill put together an amazing detailed itinerary hotels, things to do, tour guides, etc. that ensured that all members of our family had a wonderful time. We had a slight hiccup at one hotel by no fault of anyone specifically, but Jill clarified things and fixed everything for us on a Sunday morning, no less!. I highly recommend Jill for any of your custom travel needs.

We have just returned from two fantastic weeks in Europe.  We covered four countries in that time, and everything was precisely orchestrated by Jill & her team.  Little details truly relieve any anxiety.  Such as after each travel when you arrive or depart from airports or train stations, and there is your professional driver! That is a relief not having to figure out how to get to your hotel, and whether you are getting ripped-off.  No way with Jill's organization. This is a great service.  The Hotel selections that Jill made, were excellent from comfort, to staff, and wonderful breakfast buffets that were included.  You realize that one of the key components to an exceptional trip is the pre-planning that someone else has taken care of.  The custom excursions for just the two of us with our Driver/Tour Guide were a pleasure. Not a bus trip with 40 strangers, but a very special day with each of these professional and friendly locals.  Thanks to Jill, we were able to enjoy everything with quality, personal attention, and with no stress. Thank you, Jill.  We will call for our next Custom Adventure.

Actually this rating should be 10 stars. We just returned from a wonderful vacation hiking Hadrian's Wall and then a visit to Edinburgh. Jill looked after everything. Fights were great, the hotels were equally as good and she arranged guides in Scotland. Also we were originally scheduled to go by train to Newcastle and the rail system had a one day strike. Jill was on top of the situation and arranged for a driver. All in all Jill provided fabulous service. We're already planning our next adventure with Jill.

Jill did an outstanding job helping brainstorm, plan, and book our trip to Austria. As with any adventure there were some hiccups along the way and Jill assisted us at every juncture. I cannot thank Jill and the team at Custom Adventures enough. I am counting the days until we can start planning together again!
