Recent events have dictated I HAVE to write a review of the Browns Mills Pharmacy due to the pain they (the Pharmacy) have caused my wife.  One week prior to a scheduled surgery, my wife's doctor called in specific prescriptions (5 of them) to this Pharmacy.  Soon after, my wife picked them up and we thought that was that.  The day of the surgery, the doctor's office was going over pre-surgery information, and we found that the pain medication she was prescribed had not been given to us.  After verifying that the prescription was, indeed, sent to the Pharmacy - I contacted the pharmacy to find out what happened to it.  I was informed that the pain medication was back-ordered because they did not have it.  WE were never contacted (or told at the counter when we picked up the other 4 medications) and told of this back-order.  We were also told that CVS could not transfer the prescription to another CVS - we had to have the doctor call in a new prescription.   I gave this Pharmacy ONE star ONLY because they took the time to find out WHICH CVS actually HAD the medication for me.
So this Pharmacy did not find it important that a customer, prescribed PAIN medication, was not going to have it.  Over a WEEK later.
Fast forward to today.  My wife's pain medication was running low - so we had the doctor call in a prescription for a refill.  This was first thing in the morning.  By 5:00 pm we had NOT received any report from CVS that the medication was ready.  So we called.  Guess what?  Once again, they did NOT have the medication, and did NOT contact us to let us know.  When contacted - they were apologetic, but defensive and uncooperative (when we asked to speak to a manager, we were told OK , then given another pharmacy associate - NOT a Manager; when that happened, we asked for the number of their regional office - and they claimed they could not find a phone number for their regional office).  This CVS does not understand that pain medication is needed when ordered, not when they THINK they can get it on their own time.  This Pharmacy does NOT seem to understand a patients right to know what is happening with their prescription medications - even if it causes them pain.  Busy or not, when they received a prescription request for medication, and can't fill it, it should be Pharmacy 101 to inform either the patient or the prescribing doctor that they can't fill it.  Needless to say, we will be contacting the regional office in charge (or above - once WE find their contact information), explaining these issues, and then switching to another Pharmacy.  This Pharmacy is too busy trying to maintain profits (by keeping the prescription they can't fill in their own store until they can fill it - even at the medical expense of the patient), and has no understanding of customer relations.

I am very please with all that work there and there service. If anyone has a complaint they are just crabby. I have been going there for twelve years now and I have yet to find a problem there. I Love You Guys & Gals !!!!

Under staffed and the employees act like they are to good for their job. I went in to get photos of my children and it was out of receipt paper as well as ink for the pictures several people were waiting for pictures and the employee was too busy to take care of customers I had to walk out with my pictures still on the kiosk because it wouldn't work
