I was staying at the Hyatt and it was nice to be able to walk to this CVS completely indoors without having to go out in the cold. It's a small store but they pack a lot in there. I found the staff to be very friendly when I was looking for some particular batteries. It's a little crammed in there so it can be a bit of a hassle when busy, but overall a good experience.

Slow service and rude customer service. The CVS in Beverly on 103rd is way better. They also don’t know answers to simple medicine questions. I’ve had to ask other pharmacies.

I just visited CVS Pharmacy - store #4781 in CHICAGO, Illinois (pharmacy) at 205 N. MICHIGAN AVENUE in Chicago, IL 60601 for a routine prescription refill, which was last filled on 11/8/2017. I am allowed a refill ever 28 calendar days, which were up on 12/8/2017. Yesterday, I spoke with Dr. Sume Chakkalakel (aka Dr. Sume Joseph), the pharmacy manager, in person. She turned me away, saying that I needed to wait until today (12/9/2017) to pick up the medicine. Today, I went into the pharmacy, and the pharm tech (Kelsi) and also the floating pharmacist (Lynn) told me that my prescription had been inexplicably deleted from their electronic system, that their "hands were tied," and that there was nothing they could do or would do. I asked them to contact Dr. Chakkalakel since I was now out of medicine for 2 days, and likely the whole rest of the weekend. When Kelsi called Dr. Chakkalakel at home, Dr. Chakkalakel told Kelsi to call the doctor's office (even though they are closed), but offered no apology or alternative solution. Nor did she take any accountability for this error. I have now been out of medicine for a few days, and I will have no recourse or hope of refill for the next several days, all due to the stupidity and negligence of the leadership at this store. This will impact my work performance negatively. Dr. Chakkalakel and CVS violated my trust and their fiduciary duty of care by misplacing the prescription that my doctors electronically provided to them. I am not allowed to keep a copy of this prescription, since it is electronic, so I am left without any recourse. Most importantly, Dr. Chakkalakel did not care at all to even try to mitigate the damage with an explanation. I asked to speak with Dr. Chakkalakel on the corporate phone, and the attendant refused to put her on the phone. I am not sure how a pharmacy manager can be so negligent or exhibit such reckless disregard/ignorance. I am also not sure if her subordinate was the one who actually deleted the prescription and blamed it on the manager who happened to be absent. Regardless of what the facts are, Dr. Chakkalakel did not care enough to speak with me, apologize, explain, or offer alternative attempts/solutions to fix the situation. She is not back in the store until Tuesday. If this medication was for antidepressants or high blood pressure, someone could commit suicide or have a heart attack in between now and when CVS got their act together. This is grounds for a lawsuit, and I will never give CVS my business again if I can help it.

The pharmacy staff is really nice. Any questions you have regarding your prescription, they're happily willing to answer.
