I called the pharmacy to see if they accept my insurance.  Lauren answered and I told her that I needed to have a prescription filled, but I needed to find out if they accepted my insurance.  She asked if I had a prescription. I said it had been with another pharmacy and was expired, but that I was switching pharmacies.  She asked if I'd be bringing one in and I said that I might or the doctor might send it. This seemed to upset her. Then she asked what insurance I had. I told her I have Aetna, then she sighed and in a super put out voice she said "I can't, I need a major, I can't tell you with Aetna, you'll have to call your insurance provider".  I was   amazed at how I could ruin someones day just by asking a few simple questions, and how someone could really complicate a simple inquiry.  I think she could have provided the same information without being extremely rude.
