While the pharmacy is located within a CVS has a 2-star rating, don't let that dissuade you from giving them your business. Though I have never had to speak with the pharmacist, the staff is genuinely friendly and have always been a pleasure to interact with. If you care less about the experience than you do the outcome, prescriptions are filled quickly and well within the time quoted. Lastly, though Carmel-by-the-Sea is a wealthy retirement community and therefore lines at the pharmacy can be long, the staff is quick to adjust to them when they are, and before you know it you're out the door. 

It's just a pharmacy, but they do it well. I'm a happy customer, you should be too.
