D. Garrett Construction, Inc., is a premiere South Florida builder and general contractor, with offices in Naples and Ocean Reef, Key Largo.

Story

We are accustomed to working with strict budgets and deadlines. We take both of these very serious, and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Our customer service / warranty department is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We service what we build.

Our management style is flexible and "hands on". We are a medium size construction firm, closely managed by its owner and officers.

All projects are priced by our estimating team. These individuals will work with the owners until all pricing is agreed upon and a contract is executed. All projects can be "Value Engineered". We have been successful in reducing costs significantly.

After this stage the project is then turned over to the Project Manager who is responsible for the office to field management. This includes all communication of all correspondence to the Project Superintendent, as received by the architect, owner and subcontractors. The project manager will be the contact for the owner until the project is completed.

We do not change the Project Superintendent or Project Manager in the middle of the job. The same team that started the project, will remain on the project until it's final completion and acceptance by all parties.

The project then moves into the "Close-Out" stage which consists of multiple facets of the project, including completion of the punch list work, warranty documents, as-built drawings, inspections, training and systems turn-over, final release of lien affidavits, etc...
