Story

A Custom Luxury Home Builder, Divco has been building in Collier and Lee County since the late 70’s. During the last 30+ years, we have built more than 1200 homes in over 60 different communities and neighborhoods, including waterfront, golf course and estate homesites.

Quality of Construction: Divco builds a home of superior quality at a reasonable price. We will not always be the lowest price, but we believe our buyers receive the best combination of quality workmanship at a competitive price. Strong emphasis is placed on the overall customer experience throughout the process.

Materials used in Construction: You will find familiar product names in the homes that we build. Carrier Air-Conditioning, Windoor & PGT sliding glass doors, Kohler plumbing fixtures, Schlage lock sets, Kitchen Aid appliances, and Eagle roofing are some of the names you will recognize in our standard features.

Construction Staff: Divco’s field and administrative staff have committed their careers to the housing industry, collectively representing over 90 years of experience: Ron Glace, field management; Lee Wilson, on-site residential sales; Alan Foster, residential design and sales management

Financial Strength: Divco moved to SW Florida from Indiana in the late 1970’s. Since that time we have weathered many downturns. Never during any of these periods has Divco not paid its vendors or subs on time. During this most recent and most severe recession, Divco was never late on any of its payments, nor did any of its’ banks call on any mortgages. American Express has never reduced our available credit and we were/are current with every payment.

Warranty Program. Divco has been an exemplary builder within the 2-10 insurance based warranty program for many years. To qualify for this warranty program, Divco must demonstrate its financial stability, quality of construction, and dedication to warranty performance to The HomeBuyers Warranty Corp., who backs the warranty program. 2-10 HBW guarantees our performance on the 1 & 2 year normal warranty coverage plus a 10 year structural warranty policy which is transferable. A lot of builders cannot meet the criteria for inclusion in this warranty program, therefore, can not offer it, Divco includes it with all of its’ Gold level homes. Additionally, Divco is the recipient of the coveted Diamond Builder Award and the Elite Builder Award for our warranty performance. There are no other builders in the State of Florida that have this collective 2-10 HBW distinction.

Energy Efficiency: Divco understands you expect your home to be energy efficient. Our standard features include: Air-conditioning equipment with a 16 SEER rating, 3/4” thick foam insulation on the exterior block walls, R-11 and R-19 batt insulation on our exterior frame walls, R-30 ceiling insulation over all living areas, (we also insulate the floors of our two story units), tinted mitered glass and sliding glass doors, and Low E insulated glass windows.

Our Home Owners: Divco has been selected many times by home buyers who are within the industry and quickly recognize the value that Divco offers. In addition, we have many customers who have built with us multiple times and recommended us to their friends and acquaintances. In a number of cases we have built homes for parents and their children.

Locations and Designs. As previously stated, over Divco’s 30+ year history, Divco has built in over 60 different communities including waterfront communities throughout Marco Island, Naples and Beachfront areas, including such prestigious neighborhood as Port Royal, Aqualane Shores, Royal Harbor, Moorings, Park Shore, Vanderbilt, and St. Charles Harbor. Divco’s golf course oriented community history started in Pelican Bay and expanded to other developments such as Pelican Marsh, Grey Oaks, Bonita Bay, Palmira, Audubon, Quail Creek, Renaissance, Miromar Lakes, Twin Eagles and many other exclusive areas.
